Boys let me talk!When i woke up today morning saw my beautiful wife holding the Iphone > Apple made my day.Be it a toy, a phone or whatever ihone is a wonderful gadget to own.

@pJ0x exactly... nokia bums can install some half assessed stuff, you perfect iPhone people cannot-, not because it is halfwhatever, but because Jobs don't allows you to - you can't run 3rd party software on di best fone eva... or the worst one;

you nokia bums should take your kid on multimedia phone and thoughts elsewhere.Go and install some half assed symbian RAM management program.

So I took a leap of faith and I bought the iPhone. I am not really an apple fan and my Nokia N95 has served me well, but anyways I decided to try the thing out before forming an opinion. And I realized why Apple is going to win the mobile phone war. It's not about the features, it's about the user experience. There's no phone that has the same ease of use as the iphone, and I think that is what appeals to 99% of all consumers. Most people don't care about their phones being loaded with features. That's the reason why the Nintendo Wii outsells the PS3 5 to 1. It's obvious that the PS3 is a superior system in terms of capability, but the user experience is so much better on the Wii, and that's what most people really care about.
Ther are many features I would like apple to add to their phones in the future, but it is a great first phone. Signal quality is better than expected. The way I look at it is its a really nice ipod that can also make calls. On paper, it seems like some pretty phone that lacks a lot of features, but after day to day use, I prefer it over my nokia n95. I do miss the 5 MP camera abilty of my nokia though :(

what is with the iphone ???you cant even use it anywhere else other than the US...what a looser !!!i just dont know why they would make a phone like that !!!!!c'mon apple.....make a phone the world can use !!!what say???

most people in America are not exposed to nice foreign phones, cell phone services usually distributes phones used my foreign consumers years ago

I bought the iPhone. It is not all that great. You cannot work with photos. You cant even rotate them. No flash. Only option camera has is 'CLICK'. IT DOES NOT SYNC WITH MICROSOFT OUTLOOK. Yes it doesn't sync your mails with microsoft outlook. Only your contacts are synced. Calender items sync partially. You cannot assign mp3 ringtones. Only ringtones are that which come with the phone. ipod is fine. Safari browser does a great job. Google maps and weather widgets are awesome. Overall am not satified with the prize i paid. I have a 8gb iPhone and i feel like selling it off.....

a Nokia , or Erickson ,or Lg,etc soon will put touchscreen (some already have it)phones like the iphone for sell , but this phones have java,MMs, card slot,etc etc, so who will want an iphone!

One question real quick... what if i buy the phone in US and bring it back to Japan? Am i able to use the US iphone in Japan or in any country in Europe and Asia? Thanks

hey peoples, this phone is insane. not good insane but bad insane!! what in the hell is going on with this phone. 520k units in first three days is ridiculous!! it a m o b i l e phone for chist sakes!! people are insane, they would throw their money to an idea instead of the product itself. it is not yet the best phone out there. 520,000 units is absolutely insane and a message to all u people who have splashed, u will one day make me a very wealthy man!!

Well, I'm no big fan of Nokia either, i hate Nokia phones, their designs suck bigtime.
I think the iPhone design is not bad, but not exactly new, I mean c'mon.. And all that hype by the Apple presentation eh? the ol' jeans and cardigan show eh? I mean d'you see Sony or Philips do anything like that? c'mon what's the big fuss all about? it's just a phone. The hype isn't neccessary, as any good product will justify itself. Although it's understandable that if this model doesn't make it, the next one will not gain enough trust.
