Still a worthwhile iPhone and bargains can be had. Leaving aside the lack of 5G (those of us who are in rural location rarely see this anyway!) its hard to tell this from later iPhone and this will see iOS 20 upgrade so still worth buying.

Despite competitive pricing, it's not intuitive and it's sluggy software and mediocre quality. The older A52 is much better. The iPhone 11 might be even older, it's easy to use and quality is excellent.

Hi,
I currently own a iPhone 8 plus 64GB. Changed the battery for a new one almost 2y ago, still on 100% health. I have a chance of buying a used iPh11 64GB with the battery health 74% for 100€. Is that a good and cheap upgrade? No gaming, i just like my phones to be fast, have nice screen to look at & have a good camera.
If I'm to buy a new one, I'd like it to be android, but would not be able to spend more than 250€ at most.

1- not in a hurry
2- you *really* can't live without iOS's social media photo/video optimizations (in Snapchat/IG, tho it's a small difference. Watch YouTube for comparison)
3- don't care about Ultrawide lens
Then I recommend you wait it out for the iPhone SE 4 coming this march, you won't get it on a good price until Black Friday by the end of the year. (November) It can easily last you 6 years. If it's still expensive by then, you will be able to find iPhone 13 for $300 (lasts you 3.5 years)
The issue with iPhone 11 is that iOS 19 (if not 20) might be the last iOS released for it. so by 1.5-2 years it will be outdated. (not the end of the world because many apps still support older iOS versions) iPhone 11 is still good if you can find the 128GB for < $200.
I would personally opt for Galaxy A35 or A54 at this price. I love Samsung's photography.

I am a person... moreUnless you really like big screens, the iPhone 11 is probably the better buy since it has a faster processor and more reliable cameras. Plus iOS does a better job of supporting older phones than HyperOS, and the iPhone 11 will probably get an extra year of support over the Redmi.

Though hardware wise the Redmi seems way better
