I purchased the iPhone 11 brand new and spent extra $$$ to buy Apple Care. This was in March 2021. I was hoping it’s a reliable.
The phone first had battery issue, with capacity came down to 86%, then stayed there. Apple would not do anything to help until it’s “shows” to be below 80%. The phone then broke down in December 2022 and Apple gave me a "factory re-manufactured phone" as a replacement. They said it's been vigorously tested to be in the same quality as a brand new phone. The whole process took a couple of weeks and I received it in early January 2023.
But... Within 2 months time, the phone broke again, Yes Apple, shame quality as a brand new phone? It first totally black out overnight, I contacted Apple, they said it’s software issue, and used tricks to revive it. It then broke again, with a dark grey screen and blurry fonts in white that makes my eye sore and hard to read. It then had multiple layers of visions on the screen. It's now just a few days until my Apple Care expires. I called apple support, and they confirmed it's hardware issue. And they offered to give me another factory re-manufactured phone which they again said it's been tested as having the same quality as a brand new phone.
I feel it's a total disgrace for Apple to repeat their lies to the same person, without worrying that the person already knows it’s a lie. Just because we are weak and don't have powers, they can easily repeat their lies again and fool us. Each time the phone broke down, as we all can understand, it caused so much frustrations and wasted so much of my time dealing with it.
My advices to you, if you don’t want to be in a similar situation as me, DO NOT buy an iPhone. It has a reputable brand name, but that’s about it, nothing more.

It’s a good go but for not much more you can have a XR with a better processor

Nasir10, 31 Jan 2023i will buy a iphone wich one will better iphone 11 or xr pr... morebuy the old 7 or 8 plus is worth more, i got 7 plus jet black 128GB under 200 USD and still convenient until now, for the rest of money just buy secondhand flagship from samsung, much better specs, really i am thinking with that price you only got the luxury pride not the spec wise phone, like screen is nearly 720p altough they use high quality display than 7 plus 1080p FHD or other oem which using Amoled 120Hz, 64GB rather than nowadays android starting from 128GB, if you think you want install a mod app, just think android, i know the iOS offers simplicity than android but don’t waste money only on an iphone

Battery life was incredible, I'd easily get 5-6 hours of SoT eith around 40% battery remaining at like 9/10pm. Battery health was 96% went I sold this device. The only problem I had was with the screen and brightness, was making it hard to see outdoors and I don't have that problem anymore

Im lucky i got a second hand iphone 11 (128gb) everything was original for around $200 with box 81% bettery health and its amazing i charge it twice (morning/evening) in a day note: im a heavy user

My iPhone is 1 year old last December 2021, suddenly there’s a thin shadow line that appears on the upper left side. Is it normal? It’s not that visible on the picture, but hope it helps. Thank you.

(obviously there are 2 cameras instead of one which gives you a better picture quality and more freedom but that is self explanatory) it is also more recent meaning if you are gonig to keep it for a long time it will have the new ios updates until 2026 whilst it is the last year for iphone xr. So i'd say the price difference is worth it.

My advice is better to buy new than second hand, considering that this iPhone is already 3 years old
