Why do you think iOS is slowly increasing the RAM in newer models? iOS is optimized coz Apple has got just 1 phone and 1 chip on earth to work on compared to android which is like zillions of phones & OEMs. And btw a simple Instagram story crashed on iPhones and not on high end Androids. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHlZXyhG3eQ). There are advantages & shortcomings of each. You simply cant customize anything on iOS unlike android where you are free to literally do anything you want. I like iOS but my job needs to record all business calls and that is something iOS simply does not allow. So there's that.

I also had a Xs Max before the 11 Pro Max and I am absolutely blown away even over a year a later of owning the 11 Pro Max just how great the battery life is, I can easily get over 10 hours SOT out of it which is a big jump from the Xs Max which did a decent job of maybe 7-8 hours SOT but that’s with it basically almost dead at the end of the day while the 11 Pro Max always as plenty of extra juice. I am about to go to bed now and I have done 8h32min SOT but still have 26% battery left which could easily give me another 2-3 hours SOT if I could stay up any longer. I am very impressed and wonder if I really need to upgrade.

              Google, 17 Apr 2021You can get 4gb ram on a budget android phone now-a -daysThat’s cute,but iOS does a fantastic job at optimization to the point where 4GB RAM on an iPhone is equivalent to 8GB on android.Did you see the multitasking test of iPhone 12 Pro Max versus S21 Ultra on Phonebuff? The 6GB RAM of the iPhone 12 Pro Max performed better than the 12GB RAM of the crappy android. :)
              Androids are great phones for people who like to read specs and buy cheap phones though.

                    Jonathan uk , 10 Apr 2021If you want a phone with a strong battery for gaming, the 1... moreWell iPhone 12 Pro Max and 11 pro Max shares almost same battery life but in video 11 pro Max is higher and in web browsing 12 pro Max is higher, though I feel 11 pro Max battery should last longer as it have less size, more mAh and less resolution but optimization of A14 Bionic chip and its software processing puts the 12 pro Max battery toe to toe with 11 pro Max.

                      I’ve got the 11 pro Max now, before that I had the XS Max, on a weekend when I’m at home all day, I could start with 100% with the XS Max at around 6/7am when I start using it, and then by afternoon time I’d need to think about charging it(if I was using it on and off all morning and afternoon), but with the 11 pro Max if I do the same thing on the weekend, I can easily go until the evening time and still have 30/40% battery left, and that’s using Skype aswell which is a known battery killer, doing some texting, watching YouTube etc. I don’t play that many games but for example, on my XS Max PUBG mobile would use about 12/13% battery for a 30min game, on the 11 pro Max it’s using about 4/5%, which for a graphics intense game is really good. Get the 11 pro Max you won’t regret it, it’s a great all round phone which I honestly can’t fault at all

                          Anonymous, 27 Mar 2021What about the battery ? causes that's what keeping me... more1 day and half on heavy use easily, I am getting 2 days with 8 hours of SOT with moderate use on a single charge so you can get over a day with heavy use easily, till 80% battery health there is no worries in battery it will work fine so no worries about that also.
