It's a marketing trick, the cheaper iPhones to make it look like Apple is starting to make more affordable phones, but in the long run the cheaper ones have far worse specs to drive you toward the 1000+ models

[deleted post]Well if I have to be honest there are lots of android phones that are pretty much the same quality as an iPhone for a lower price. In the olden days about 7-10 years ago that was not at all the case but androids have gotten a lot better and generally have better value
