The theory goes that in most countries, people fled traditional text messaging faster than in the U.S., due to more onerous per-message fees–and Apple was just too late to the party. If it had wanted to compete, though, it would have had to create an iMessage app for Android, and it chose not to. People chose other apps.

Since Apple made that choice not to support Android, though, it’s probably safe to say that Apple never actually intended for iMessage to compete for instant-message domination over the rest of the world. Its charter was always a bit more limited. The goal was to change Apple’s operating systems so they were no longer dependent on the ancient, carrier-controlled SMS text message system.

Preferably Samsung S21, Pixel 6, Oneplus 9, all with fingerprint sensors that work well when wearing a mask. Unless, of course, if you are trapped in the ecosystem, which Apple has worked hard to produce.

Unless your 12 love Memojis big deal.....rather have choice in apps. Can even get their gif or gallery right . Samsung one ui is much more user friendly.

                    However, there were some rumors indicating that a new face id hardware is going to work well with overused garbage! Sadly though , it’s no longer the case with the iphone 13! It uses the same hardware as the previous generations, which is certainly a bit disappointing!

                                    Got my blue IP12 yesterday. My last IP was a 7+ a few back. Honestly, this phone is magnificent. The only slight drawback I’ve noticed is that the battery life goes down faster when browsing the internet. But a full charge with light use takes me over a day. If you are thinking of getting a 12 series IP and can afford it, go for the 12ProMax. For light use (I don’t play games on my phones), the base 12 shud be sufficient for most users.

After 2yrs of launch I bought my iPhone 11 in Oct 2021 and very happy using it even though it had HD+ LCD display, no night mode on ultrawide+front cam and no photo correction for ultrawide cam. Still I felt it was a good deal atleast for 3yrs.

                                        iPhones are a one time investment and then they keep going on and on. I've been using an iPhone 7 for the past couple of years, it still doesn't lag, doesn't hang, can handle anything(except a few games), and its over 4 years old now, works as new. The only degradation is in the battery, which is understandable.
