Does it mo... moreMove to iOS works perfectly in moving WhatsApp, but it's a pain to get it to work
First of all, the iPhone creates a hotspot that the android phone connects to, the problem is that this hotspot provides no internet, so some devices automatically disconnect (even though it might show connected), so I had to turn off mobile data on the android.
And then I got past the authenticating screen. When initiating WhatsApp transfer, it got stuck at 0% for long time but went smoothly after about 10 minutes

I own both phones you have mentioned. iPhone photos are Natural not over-refined like other Phones. I love the colour accuracy of the Photos i get.

First of all, I would like to say that this phone is simply amazing.
I was a user of the Motorola moto g(6) and a ZTE Blade L3 before that. After 4 years of using the moto g(6), I finally decided that I should swallow my pride and switch to iPhone. Great decision on my part.
I got it on 25/07/2022 for the equivalent of $680.66 (₹54,000) after exchanging my previous phone and I believe I’m quite enjoying myself. The screen is great, the cameras are great and since I’m an average user who doesn’t play video games on their phone, the battery gets me through an entire day of use. The speakers are to die for - providing a full stereo effect due to the use of both the earpiece and the bottom speakers. The phone is butter smooth and hasn’t slowed down even once in the last 5 days of use. I tested out a game (Honkai Impact 3rd) on max settings and it was running quite smoothly, with the occasional stutter (not at all frequent, could be the fault of the game though). All my photos and contacts were easily transferred because they were all backed up to my Google account - very smooth process.
There were however, two downsides which I noticed in this time period:
1. The transfer of WhatsApp messages and media is incredibly tedious, time consuming and frustrating. I downloaded the Move to iOS on a spare phone of mine to transfer everything and it took me a full 4 hours to get the job done. I had to transfer around 7 GB of data and for that, I had to constantly tap on the screen of my iPhone to prevent it from going to sleep (as the transfer requires you to not close the app and keep the screen on). The fact that this transfer can only be done in the setup stage did not help as I *couldn’t* toggle the wake time of the phone and set it to “Never”.
2. The absence of a proper File Directory really bugged me. Having been an Android user for the last forever, I had gotten quite used to knowing exactly where my files were kept. It’s not a *major* con on the iPhone but I felt like pointing it out for the people who might be thinking about shifting - old habits die hard, I guess.
What I recommend for new users of Apple is to get an iCloud storage subscription because my lord it is a godsend. You’ll never have to worry about changing your phone ever again. Granted you’re switching to another iPhone.
Overall - Solid 9/10 phone, even in 2022, 2 years after its launch.

always great performance and design
best of all is the feeling of knowing that you have in your hand the best of the best in cell phones
I had several models, such as: 5, 5c, 6s, 7, SE2 and now 12
I love it.

Is anyone facing wifi issues, my device shows connected to wifi but then is not able to send/receive data on any app, all apps show that i am offline, happens with mobile data as well, only way is to restart the device, its not an issue with my wifi router as no other device faces this issue. Please help

I spent 12 months with my iPhone 12 and it is quite good compared to my last phone - my broken screen S9. 12 is heavier than S9. 12 runs just about any game, no matter it's Candy Crush or Genshin Impact. BT connection never drops. Music feels awesome. Battery lasts 2+ days. Display shows great color. Performance was consistent since day one. All the small things you need to make a good phone is here.
