itumir, 19 May 2021Well I am the other way around. I regret buying iPhone 12. ... moreI won't and NEVER ever use the auto brightness under sunlight, which means maximum brightness, it will make the screen oled faster to burn in and ruin the resale value at much

REMEMBER this is NOT LCD, OLED will suffer burned in display and it is permanent damage because of maximum brightness = maximum heat, LED enemy is Heat since LED producing 40% light and 60% heat

Any Fast Charging will stop at 50-80% to reduce the heat since the battery is well loaded and will continue on max 10W charging, the same thing going with Electric Car, and the battery degradation not much different

Pizon, 22 May 2021Iphone 12 my next phone I want to buy.At the moment I have ... moreDon't buy the 12 IF YOUR AREA ARE NOT FULLY COVERED BY 5G YET, since their 5G chipset is not made by Apple owned, it is builded by Snapdragon X55 and it is separated chipset, which is BETTER than any Intel modem, but also Power Hunger for Apple A14 since is separated and not optimized yet, that means shorter life than 11 series

Wait for the iPhone 14 and next gen when the 5G ready, and their iPhone will be better and better

12 series is forced to use 5G since USA and China which is 2 big fish market already use 5G, but the Apple designers aren't ready yet to put 5G modem embedded on A14

iPhone 12 taught me how to organize using widget, 1st timer only on iOS overall its great for the price but if you bought it from the main store I guess its not. I don't have any problem with this phone and I don't regret my major switch from android hehe :)

Went from a S20 FE5G and Watch Active2 to an iPhone 12 and Watch 6. No regrets at all.

Only thing I've noticed is the screen on the iPhone is made out of chocolate, I have two massive scratches in the screen already and I have no idea how. I thought my old XS Max was easy scratched, but the 12 is way softer. Definitely recommend a decent screen protector on these phones.

Iphone 12 my next phone I want to buy.At the moment I have a phone Xiaomi 10T pro that is not so bad phone, but I have a few objections.First proximity sensor is bad and it works badly on notifications from social applications, they are very late which I think is not the case with iPhone's.

Display, camera & performance - these are undoubtedly strong points of this phone. But battery performance is below par even after enabling dark mode & disabling background app refresh. Heating problem during charging with 20W charger is also harmful to battery life. Any suggestion to get rid of this issue?

itumir, 19 May 2021Good luck. I regret it. Regret in what sense?

Another reason why i switched to ios is that my wife 4 yrs iphone 6s is still smooth eventhough its just a backup phone and cant feel any lags or stutter while my s10 plus can feel the stutter and lags moderately even though its just 2.5 years although its still perform very well specially the camera. In this sense it can be concluded that iphones is still has the edge when it comes to long usage not mentioning the depretiation value of the two giant company which is offcourse hands down to iphone…

then again neither does my samsung

When outside, iPhone 12 screen can hardly be visible even it is on the maximum brightness, while my Samsung S20 Ultra automatically adjusts to brighten the screen when under direct sunlight and everything on the screen are visible. Aha, you are sold to 120 refresh rate hype. Most of the YouTube Videos are recorded at 25 frames/Sec. Most of the games like PubG don't support more than 60Hz. So don't get carried away by marketing gimmick. I have Samsung with One UI 2.5, most of the features i don't use anymore after initial day or two. What irritates me on Samsung is, for every google app they have their own app. Some apps you cannot remove! You can disable some but cannot remove. On iPhone you can uninstall every app that comes by default!
Also over all app quality on Android is inferior compared to iOS. I'm not talking about number of apps here. I am talking of same app on Android Vs Same app on iOS. Do check that, I have Samsung and Apple both phones and I have identical apps on both phones.

I recently got an s21plus and I chose it over iphone 12 both are of same price here but tbh I regret it very much , Ive been an Iphone user since 6 years so I thought I might try something different, at first interface is amazing , 1UI is great but problem started when I got bored of android so I thought of selling it and buying Iphone 12 but The resale price was awful even it was samsung's newest flagship so I had to keep otherwise I would've faced a great loss, so yeah If youre an Iphone user stick to that you'll regret after switching. Also dont be flattered by samsungs features trust me you would'nt even notice them, Ios is way better, androids are all same.
