I had an iphone 6 plus for several years and loved that phone, due to age and problems with the iphone, i reluctantly bought an iphone 12 pro max. I hate this iphone. The screen is smaller than the iphone 6 plus, functionality is not as good, the touch screen does not work well and is very frustrating to use. I prefer the “button” bottom center on the 6 plus, overall, bad job on the 12 pro mac.

I have always used Android phones and now using iPhone (12) for the first time. Over all its ok but i recently received an email saying my iCloud data is almost full (5GB) and that i need to upgrade for which one has to pay. Just wondering why does Apple go so low that even after selling its phones for a very high price it is charging for things like iCloud storage. On Android i never faced such issue and it doesn’t cost you anything for backups or storage. Battery is not alot either and it drains quickly. I mean for iPhone 12 with all the upgrades and everything Apply should have at least given 4000mah battery. One more very important thing is the ridiculous front camera. It is of very poor result and is such a disappointment.

Finally , cheaper iPhone got up to date antennas and up to date modem and is now on par with Samsung in terms of networking.
I tested internet speeds on this iPhone and on aGalaxy s20 FE 5G
on T-Mobile’s midband 5g network in Chelsea area of Manhattan and at Park Slope, Brooklyn at around 9pm on different days. I run about 10 tests in 5g mode and 10 tests in 4g LTE mode and then calculated the average speed:
1) one 5g Spot in Chelsea area:
- 5G Mode: Average around 470 Mbps on iPhone 12 and around 430 Mbps on Galaxy s20 FE 5g.
-4g LTE mode ( Samsung only , since you cannot disable 5g on iPhone) :
Average around 200 Mbps
2) one 5g spot in Park Slope , Brooklyn;
-5g Mode: Average around 450 Mbps on both phones
4g LTE mode ( Samsung only ) : Average around 220 Mbps

The thing is we never cared about anything other than getting the newest version of iphone in our hands. The joy u cannot understand. Androids always feels like a compromise to us..... I have been using an LG V30+ for 3 years now. Love the phone. Still works like a charm. But got the itch to upgrade. But hardly any options. I am not interested in Oneplus etc (No offence to the owners) . Don't want to buy s20 since my wife has it. The upcoming S21 design doesn't look good to me. So considering Iphone 12. I wanted to know if there will be big difference in terms of the experience. processor speed,camera etc is not very important to me. Display and audio are. v30+ has a dedicated hi-fi dac for audio. v30+ display is 1440 x 2880, 537 ppi. iphone is 1170 x 2532, 460 ppi. Can someone throw some light?

But they are now on par with the pixel and have overtaken the samsungs of the world
