Also thinking of trying out the iPhone mini. Scared of the small battery but the iPhone just seems so small and powerful. The Xiaomi has stutter issues throughout the user interface. It is my main pet peeve with the brand. I even tried out a Xiaomi with 120hz refresh rate on the screen but because the UI is so freaking unoptimized it means that even simple tasks like unlocking the screen you are met with stutter.

I am not a fan of the MIUI though. The iPhone mini reminds me of my SE(2016). Its fast and capable. I am scared of that battery life.

        Perfect compliment to my 12 Pro Max which I use at home. The Mini is great as a travel phone. Fits in a suit pocket without showing. Now fully converted to Apple gear. Client gave me a Samsung Android phone to use and I could not stand it. I guess a lot is personal taste.

                              But i try.

                              Go to settings - cellular network - option number 2.

                              Ur phone is standard om 5g auto. Choose one of the other options :)

Listen pal your car is not burning much fuel at the begining but when u pick up more ppl inside and using the car more it will burn more.... Wtf ofc its like that with everything, if u buy the MINI and tou are media consumer zombie siting on its phone for HOURS every day , it means the mini is not for you , pick the bigger options , if ur busy working and just want quality in small size get the mini its battery is good for the target group its intended for...
