The 2020 iPhone SE is bigger and has a 1821mAh battery. They clearly made an effort to put a bigger battery in there.

Compact phone with slim bezels with apple's screen... It's a recipe for a very crisp display. This my next phone.

By doing that, you keep the benefits of the small width and height of the phone and get amazing battery life at the cost of some extra thickness.

Finally they have gone back to flat edges. The rounded edges were simply designed so that more people would drop their phones and then have to purchase a new one. One of the greatest scams Apple has ever pulled off in order to sell more phones.

For sure, the phone is good with good specs.
Eventhough they stick to the same for a long time just to slight improve the software.
I still think this is a good phone and the USP will be the smaller size
But the batterylife is... a no!
I would have expected the 28xx mAh package even if this is an upgrade compared to the SE 2020.

You can see compact phones reviewed like the Galaxy s10e and xiaomi mi9 se usually have average battery life while iphone SE and pixel 4 with a much smaller size in particular is quite poor in battery endurance.
If you want a phone that can last long, the only option is to go with a bigger bulkier phone which usually have big battery. or you can search for used/refurbrished sony xperia compact lineup which have both compact size and long battery endurance.
Why not keep your current phone? it is still new and the phone itself is decent though.

This has a tiny and efficient screen with a very efficient chip, it will last a day of light to moderate use easy.
