IOS is not "better" than android it is completly different and you cant compare based.on your preference. I have used both and prefer android. I have tried ios "iphone 11 pro" and while the quality and performance is as good as a high end android I prefer the high end samsung devicss instead of apple. I use my devices heavily for work and with the flexibility of android I can use a Microsoft launcher and get seamless integration with all my office apps for work and personal. This is somthing you cannot do with apple. You are locked in to their ecosystem with very little flexibility which is ok for some but not others.

    This phone is really good (if you can afford it). Some of my favourite features are:
    - Large display to view all of your content
    - High resolution screen: great for movies and games
    - The fastest chip in a smartphone ( the benefits are quite obvious for this one)
    - Best video quality in a smartphone
    - Ceramic Shield on the front display for 400% better drop resistance
    - Stainless Steel frame for scratch resistance and drop damage protection
    - Square edges to make the phone more grippy and less likely to drop out of your hands

          I got my iPhone 12 pro max on 20/11/2020. Now the complaint for its camera when taking pictures at night it shows some violet band on screen.

Compare which one you like best and go for that brand next time. You could then sell the phone you don't like on to somebody else, and make both you and them happy. This is what I would do to get the most out of my current smartphone, although you may think differently.

I thought the removal of the headphone jack will make me switch from iPhone to Android but having experienced the seamless transition of using my airpods by just opening it and automatically connecting to my devices (ipad, macbook, apple watch) without pairing each device, I would say that having the headphone jack removed is OK, and I own a lot of expensive wired studio headphones because i like use it when editing and gaming. it all comes down to user preference, If you don't like what you're getting with new release of apple, maybe try switching to android. I never understood why people hate apple so much. If they don't want the product, then don't buy it.

You realise it’s 3600~ one lasts as long if not longer than any other flagship? I understand a 4000mAh maybe 4500 but 6000 is way overkill (also would take up a fair bit more space...)

                                      The iphone 12 pro max probably has a lot of good things going for it given its Apple's flagship phone as well as it:s $1000+ price.So with that being said it's very disappointing that it lacks a headphone jack and it's battery has only 3687 mAH when it should be at least 6000 mAH given it's Apple's flagship phone with a $1000+ price to boot.

I still have my 6s, X, 11 Pro not to mention my iPads. so If the loss of the accessory is what it takes to not increase the price of the 12 I'm ok with it. and no headphone jack is not a big deal, there are a lot of bluetooth headphones out there. I prefer using wired headsets when using a desktop as wires get snagged when I'm outside.
