i am using this device.its purchase from uae and i live in Bangladesh where iphone dont inaugurated officially .Last week i just drop it in a water busket dor 2/3 seconds and i lost my face recognition iimediatly .after the incident i search for apple help and support but they have not any store where i can repair it .If the phone cant take the water pressure then why they given false statement .its a costly phone which is not affordable for everyone thats why it need to be s unique one .I am seriously dissopointed for having this issues because i wait almost 1 years for buying this phone .i saved lots of money because in bangladesh iphone is so much costly.So why they cant provide any customer service for us

The I Phone 12 Pro Max is a complete rip off. The phone disconnects constantly and after about a year and the two phones that we had purchased both failed as Apple phones continue to self-destruct with the new phones come out. The antenna and charge ports failed on one phone and Apple replaced 2 phones within a year and a half.
On the other I Phone 12 Pro Max, the display and charge ports failed in about a year.
Given that these phoned went for around 1200 new, it was a complete waste of money.

My mom has a 128GB 12 Pro Max in pacific blue, she’s at ios 15.5 and this phone is barely 2 years old but is at 86% BH. My 2017 samsung is more reliable than this 😂

still using 12 pro max one and half years and still work very well. im thinking to upgrade to 14pm but its feel buy a new phone with same design. so stick with this phone until 15 series i think.

First of all even Apple recommends that you change your battery below 80%.
Second of all, the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max are maximum 2 years old phones. In general, if a user takes care of the battery and doesn't push the iPhone, the phone should loose around 5-6% per year. Having a 20% less battery on a 2 years old iPhone, that means the person who had it before didn't took care of the iPhone, or the iPhone was used extensively all the time (maybe charged 2 times per day constantly).
Third of all, buying an iPhone with 80% battery health, means you are getting a far worse battery life than if it had 100%. Trust me, I verify this with some iPhone models and the difference between 80-85% battery health and 100% battery health is very big.
I saw 2 years old iPhone 12 Pro Max's with 94-95% battery health. So, 80% is too low.
In conclusion, do not buy this iPhone 12 Pro Max. This will not be 1 day usage phone (not even with medium usage).
