The iPhone 12 pro Max also does not have a finger print sensor just like the iPhone 11 which I had to take back when I noticed that this feature was missing

I think apple should've made a separate version with a centre punch hole & an indisplay fingerprint sensor, so that those of us allergic to notches would have another option to choose from. That notch design is archaic honestly.

iPhone 11 Pro Max - Photos are great. Processor is more than adequate. 4k Video superb. IOS 14 can be installed on the iPhone 11 Pro Max. People will be trading in their used 11's so you may not only get a good deal on a new 11 Pro Max, but you may save even more money on a used one. Wait a year and then get the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
But, MY CHOICE is to get the iPhone 12 Pro Max and then keep IT for a few years. I am going to get the 512gb memory.
The reviews are in for the battery life for the 12 and 12 Pro, Despite being less than the previous year, I feel they will get you through the day unless you play games on it all day or watch nothing but videos. My theory is that for those of us who pull information from the internet, will actually spend less time on the device and in effect, will save battery life. I can't tell you how many times I have opened up FB or News and even emails and there has been times it was either so slow, or it didn't pull anything without me waving the phone in the air for better reception. Even watching YouTube or TikTok where the video stops and starts several times before freezing up for 30 seconds. Allegedly, in a few months when 5g becomes more main street, your overall use time should diminish. Open FB, scroll, read comment, respond, move on, share post, comment and scroll more. Boom, done. It will be like tethered to ethernet. Apple showed off it's 5g test facilities so with them having that in-house, I am sure that what I am saying is something that has been a revelation for them and knowing that, they know that with our habits that eventually we will be getting more battery life.
Besides, with Magsafe, you will begin to see cases with batteries in them to give you even more battery life. Also, the fact that the 12 Pro Max can get you charged quickly, helps alleviate the need for larger batteries.
Get the iPhone 12 Pro Max - you will more than enjoy.
I feel the Pro Max for the iPhone 12 with its bigger battery will perform slightly less than the iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Don't ignore the fact that phones could still have varied performance despite using the same CPU (and that bugs me).

How many can a household need. They (EU) are also putting pressure to drop the lighting connection to eliminate the cable.

I am disappointed that the battery has been downgraded :/ really was looking forward to it id say stick with the iphone 11 pro max the battery so much better than this.

The most complementary part of a new phone is a charger. Alas!! Apple provide charging cable but no charger!!! isn't it a fun??? Is not apple force us to buy a new magsafe? 1000$ phone depend on old or other's charger, it is a great fun.

rippinkitten, 23 Oct 2020what does this have to do with the iphone 12 pro?You will get all your info, just make sure it's backed up properly. My dad recently switched from android to iPhone and he was able to transfer all his files and contacts. To be on the safe side, I would recommend having a tech/associate at the phone store help you with this transition so nothing gets lost.
