Thoughts on the lack of 120Hz:

Let’s be honest. Apple has a different approach to competitors such as Samsung. Apple does not like to compromise. Face ID and the notch are still here, 120Hz is not coming due to the hit on battery of not having a LTPO variable refresh rate display available to the scale Apple requires which is a shame

Samsung on the other hand has got rid of Iris scanning, dual front facing cameras, intelligent scan. The non 120Hz display of the Note 20 looks so much brighter than the Note 20 Ultra 120Hz display.
120Hz is capped at 1080p.
OnePlus has had huge display uniformity issues with its 120Hz display panels.

The ultrasonic fingerprint scanner does not work with most glass screen protectors and is slower compared to a bezel Touch ID.

I will say it again, Apple does not like compromise.

Besides, the OLED iPhones do have a 120Hz touch sample rate at least, and for the most part in my opinion iOS is significantly more smoother than Android on a pure software level.
In other words, I think 120Hz matters more on an Android phone than on an iOS device.

But needless to say I would love to see 120Hz variable refresh rate make it onto an iPhone. I wish Apple facilitated for its true Pro users in the refresh rate department and hid the setting for 120Hz to be always on. But I suppose they don’t want their reputation to be hit by having poor battery life, which is not helped with 5G and having a thinner phone this year.

They said 699 iPh... moreThe 120hz refresh rate rumor was debunked pretty early, months ago, because they couldn't get enough of them because of covid, the 699 iPhone mini is true, and no one said the rest of them. If you're gonna comment a hate message at least do your homework and hit with genuine information. Apple's whole business model is built on trust so they never promise anything they can't deliver, because then people won't trust things they say.

          In early July I decided to buy my first iPhone.. I considered all the rumours about the iPhone 12 series and what I already knew about the iPhone 11 Pro Max. I bought the iPhone 11 Pro Max. It seems I made the right decision. I didn't like the rumoured Note 20 Ultra. I had both the Note 9 and Note 10 Plus and wanted to sell the former. I'm keeping the Note 10 Plus until the Note 21 Ultra comes out. Henceforth instead of carrying 2 Galaxy Notes one will be an iPhone Pro Max.

              I think due to COVID people are going to be mental who waste their 2000$ and why? Is it worth to spend their hard earning money on smartphone. Pls. Think once they are making fool to their customer in the name of innovation...

                    There is huge difference between Android and iOS. Well, Samsung's Note series has not seen any significant chnages, apart from an unreliable fingerprint scanner

                              It is a complete horror show and making fool to the customer in the name of innovation?

                              Price of iPhone is almost 2000$ in india if converter in indian rupees I don't know why people are mad even a 150$ phone can works very well despite this paper weight. Thank you Apple for your costly useless products

                                      they should have added Touch ID to the power button like they did for the ipad air. Inthese time of wearing masks i'm fed up of having to type in the passwords everytime i have to get in to use the phone!
