I may look forward to this phone, but if it’s not 120hz I may hold on to my 11 Pro Max for another year. If there’s an "old" screen on this 12 Pro Max I do believe it’s not much difference in performance between 11 Pro Max and 12 Pro Max, except for the new design.

Not a super techy person, but apart from 5G, is there anything about the 12 Pro series that has made a massive improvement from the 11 Pro series?
What is the importance/contribution of a Lidar sensor and does it make such a huge difference?

What they really do is try to perfect innovations first introduced by other companies. The dual camera set-up, was already introduced since 2007 by Samsung, and was made popular by the LG G5. The notch on the other hand, was introduced by Essential PH-1.

The sheer idea of having a display curve around a camera and earpiece is so sexy and space age. I currently have a Sony xz2, iphone 6 and a Samsung a20e. My next phone will be an iphone 12 100%
