But what about the new camera features like the pro res and the focus ability which 12 pro/ max doesnt have, do you think its still better to stick to my 12 pro and save the money for the upcoming iphone 14/15 pro in the near future?

RandyRiffin, 02 Nov 2021Bro are you just gonna spend $1500+ money just to get high ... moreActually, the 13 pro and pro max configurations are similarly priced, even with the 256gb and 512, which are similar, compared to the 12's storage options, they were identical because Apple likes to keep the same prices for their iPhones, though it might OK to buy the 13 pro max and the not mini cause the bigger the better!

Aerialeem, 31 Oct 2021Id like to have good display for watching movies(more pixel... moreLike I said, Xperia 5 II also has a headphone jack and big bright display like Xperia 1 III, so I think it's a better deal if you want to go with Sony at all. Remember 5 II has 120Hz display, 1 III has 60 Hz.
But I need to ask you, how important are the cameras to you? What about battery? Charging speed? Where do you like the fingerprint sensor? Do you need stereo speakers? Do you like heavy or big phones (as iPhone is pretty heavy while Sony is light).
The reason why I'm asking you this is there are other phones such as Samsung A52 5G, Google Pixel 5a, Redmi Note 10 Pro, Zenfone 8, Realme GT, Oppo Reno 5 that have all the stuff you just mentioned, but they excel in different areas, I need to know more to help you decide.

So thats already a 190 dollar difference in price,
I personally just bought a iphone 13 pro and I love it, it's so fun to use with that 120hz and the performance is superb and the battery is great even though it's not the best in the flagship territory even though it's smaller and I got to say the size is perfect , the battery is good for me but if you have a day with very heavy usage it'll die till the end of the day.
My guess is that the main focus for next year's iphone is going to be the battery and maybe the cameras
So if you want the new iphone already and you don't mind a slightly smaller battery then go for it for sure

I have iphone 12 pro 128gb variant. Im thinking to swap it to iphone 13 pro and will just add some cash for the price difference, is it worth to spend money for the price difference or just save my money and wait for iphone 14 (new design) so forth and so on…
Some of my friend told my that the new feature in the iphone 13 are not usefull if you just want the basic function like basic camera and ios is already optimised to mo need for the 120 hz.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Aerialeem, 31 Oct 2021Id like to have good display for watching movies(more pixel... more1. Headphone jack issue can be overcome by buying a cheap 3.5mm + charging dongle for iPhone.
2. Watching video aspect ratio is mostly is 16:9. (Xperia + iPhone 13 all have aspect ratios of 19:9 and more. Thus you will not see the notch when watching on either you pick, and both will give you black stripe on both sides, so you can hold your phone properly.
Both are non issue for either phones. Price is the only consideration.

iPhone 12 Pro: single core: 1590, multicore: 3880

And that's why i am puzzled by your method. A iPhone 13 max fully configured is equal to an iPad mini 6, an apple watch and or a good car head unit, allowing you to fully enjoy more of the Apple's ecosystem.
I guess a small company or you are just the employee of said company. Else why would you still bother to manage your stuff in a car, shouldn't you be in a nice aircon room managing everyone? And it make sense you would treasure a mounted iPhone compared to CarPlay, because you need to use the company's 'transport app' right, whereby the CarPlay limited app does not work? Like Uber drivers, they can't mount their preferred head units, and have to rely on their mobile phones.
"Large touch screen head unit", and yet no wireless carplay feature? Top of the line cars all have such functions.
And last reason, i do not think it's a "safe" option to put a phone in a car 24/7.. it may get too hot in the summer's sun.. and a fire hazard.
