Apple's main market share is in the US and China. Apple is also keen on sticking to its own ecosystem and will more than likely move Thunderbolt 4 (which is double the speed of USB-C) to its main markets and only use USB-C on Euro models to comply with the law. I could care less about what connector it has in the end, as I haven't charged a phone with a wired connection in years and my home internet is gigabit fiber and Wifi6e if I need to transfer data.
I wouldn't be surprised if Apple finally goes with a Periscope as the rumors suggest, as everyone else has them now, thus Apple will copy. Though it's mainly a marketing gimmick. I had a 100X periscope lens on my old S21 Ultra and rarely if ever used it. Ultrawide is far more usable and practical.

This is last iPhone to come with an outdated lightning connector.
I feel sorry for those who bought this phone because if they only waited one more year then they'd get USB - C and perhaps a periscope camera.

I looked it up
this looks like a complex problem with storage where same storage places can't be find in the storage manager and apps are definitely going too have problems that are dependent on this working
This is a worrying problem as some Android apps require additional permission or any access too storage or unknown source or developers opinions or even root privileges just too function properly
It looks like Android is becoming more locked down
Am already not a fan of either Android 11 or android 12 and afford of what Android 13 will bring too the table
I have some difficulties with them of my own
Android 11 just seen too have problems with ram management & apps closing themselves lack of improvements over Android 10
Android 12 I think is the worsened version of Android too date with system requirements of bare minimum of 6gb ram is a nightmare for budget Android smartphones market
and unleashed chaos across the board with sluggish performance freezing up bugs Sutter and endless frustration
It's really annoying as we have too use old versions of Android just too do what we want
Google is getting bad like Microsoft this is terrible
Am already having too use old windows versions for this exact reason
Still using windows 7 because Microsoft crap and lack of legacy's support for old program and games
Plus the spyware and restrictions and limitations of the newer windows versions and disabled stuff forced updates removed features etc etc etc
The best version of Android for are
from my experience
Android 4 supports Adobe flash player but I not had much luck with it
Android 5 is just a worse version of Android 6
Android 6 still a rock solid OS too date with excellent app compatibility and my favourite version of Android
Android 7 added dual screen mode but removed virtual
volume buttons
Android 8 never used not familiar
Android 9 can be bothersome too use as some apps won't play nice with it and difficulties with compatibility
Android 10 added dark mode so useful is a stable os
lost legacy app support

some apps couldnt access files. like hex editor.
and you cant access android data and obb folder as well. so you no longer put large games that have seperate parts like apk + obb
sd card aceess is starting to act up.

Then we better to avoid samsung one ui os in future.
My friends also told me, one ui isn't prefect for security and privacy for a long period of usage.

I said again, snapdragon 8 gen 1 SoC was manufacturer by Samsung instead of TSMC so it drain battery quickly. but even i said it im pretty sure u still dont get it..

Asus Rog 6 pro beats iPhone in battery life and has a more reasonable size battery

Apple is nothing special just iOS is lighter than Android
Most Android alternatives can run more smoothly than Android on less powerful hardware
This is more a Android system requirements problem
Google made Android just so heavy and demanding on system resources
Android has a lot of problems with ram management system and so problems with low end hardware being chosen by manufacturers
Most Android brands under spec there smartphones leading too problems with sluggish performance
I checked system requirements for Android 12
Minimum 6gb of ram
Yet many Android smartphones are build budget smartphones with less than 6gb of ram
Android shouldn't be this heavy in the first place Google should not made Android this heavy needing this much ram this is really bad
and Android skins on top of this by manufacturers surely don't help with this and newer version of Android are getting even worse for this with this problem
Android is going downhill fast also and is on the fast track too become as heavy as full desktop windows OS
As for battery life going into settings and using power saver mode and customize a few settings
it's possible get Android too be just as efficient as iPhone if not better
Android can have very good battery life this a huge strength of Android battery life is
performance is also a strength of Android
A Android smartphone is like a full mini desktop OS
workstation battlestation and gaming machine and it's really more a pc like Android os
Very high ram amounts 18gb ram overclocking the processor and active cooling system and SSD storage
Android is more for power users & heavy users and does have very strong multi tasking capacitys and running Emulators and virtual machines
The gaming smartphone are very easily recommendation for me as they don't suffer from the short comings or anti features problems of mainstream brands and there hardware is good so Android runs smoother and faster on them and Android sweet spot is 16gb ram amount but could benefit from even more ram if it was available
I do think Google needs fix the ram resources problem of apps being unable too be storaged in cold storage as they just can't help but use system resources in the background 24/7 a nightmare on budget smartphones plus the OS UI & browser all fighting over the same ram bandwidth
This a huge problem under 8gb of ram on Android phone just suffer with sluggish performance and reloading same pages again from the start
Android is aimed at a different market too iOS that's just for camera and social media & watching videos

apple is a bad inference
Android manufacturers keep copying Apple's storage markups and other Apple's anti-features.
Google is at a lot of fault for this also
I don't like copy cats and most of the mainstream brands are following in apple foot steps down a bad path also
Brands like Samsung Google Xiaomi even Sony are going downhill
Google copy Samsung design ideas from how Samsung ONE UI OS so Google makes all of the new Android versions but Samsung controls the Android experience and customize it
Not ever Android brand is bad
Nubia Lenovo legion & Asus still adding more stuff too the box the smartphone comes in and adding additional features
They added additional charger too the box and extra changing ports and SSD storage and good overall specs and cooling fans more higher ram amounts
This why the gaming smartphone are such a easy recommendation they don't suffer from the short comings of the mainstream brands or under spec there phones hardware or do the anti features bs
Android has specialist smartphone also that focus on battery life and size of battery phone and being rugged Energizer ulephone umidigi doogee blackview and others they are very generous with specs and pricing
And other opinions like mini smartphones or removable battery budget smartphones from brands like Nokia Alcatel & TCL and unbranded like soyes mini phone that still are generally good Overall
So not ever Android brand is bad

Tesla phone looks premium it's a more premium brand than apple so there's that
Apple fans often want what is the most expensive or luxury
