The iPhone will only take the right amount of electricity current from the charger and it will automatically detect the limit. Every Smartphone these days does include a protection chip to prevent overcharging. More wattage means faster charging but it may cause heating on the battery which may possibly decrease the lifespan. Lesser wattage means it will take time to charge your device. Bottom line, it's safe to use your 30W charger and avoid charging the phone from a hot area. Sincerely, former Tier 2 tech from Apple.

Hey guys, I'm new to the iPhone world, pre-orderer the 14 Pro max yesterday. I have one question. as I'm using the Pixel 6 Pro and it's 30W PD charger, can I use this power brick to charge my 14 Pro max? Will it cause any battery related issues in the future?
