Sigmund, 15 Nov 2023Your comment is not entirely correct. iPhone is good if ... moreI partly agree, my mates iphone XS still performs like its almost new, very consistent phones. My lg g5 with SD 820 (9 year old SoC) still performs pretty well still and my find x5 with SD 888 hasnt felt any slowdowns and i run emulators, create music with apps like bandlab and have usually 15+ apps constantly in the background and about 70 tabs on my web browser. Has instant loading for each app and tab and it out performed my exs iphone 13 this year.

I agree that iPhone 6-8 and SE 2020-2022 is the best size

iPhone is good if you just want to iMessage, have perfect Instagram photos, and have a simple phone that does the basic things you want it to do. They are also great for longevity, especially if you replace the battery
Android phones (high end) have better battery life, better screens, faster charging, better customisation, better multitasking, sideloading, and more opportunities to get the most out of the phone. But the trade-off is no iMessage, and way less longevity if you're a real power user.
- If you want something simple that works, and you care most about posting on social media, or using iMessage - iPhone.
- If you want something that allows you to experiment and get the most out of your phone, and are fine with less longevity - Android.
For the last 10 years I have had an iPhone and an Android at the same time. The Androids last half as long but I also push them way harder.

If I'm using face id to open my phone why do I still have to manually put my code in 3 to 4 times a day?

How come 15 has thinner bezels and the same 6.1 screen as iPhone 12, but it's still taller?
Why all the new phones are bigger and heavier than the old ones? I just hope they will bring back a 5.4" or 5.8" phone in the form of a new SE.
The ideal size is the 6/7/8 or the SE's, will be perfect a phone that big but with the largest screen to fit that body.

The standard iPhone 15 still doesn't come with 120hz LTOP display, USB C 3.2, and the latest A17 chipset. This is a very good news for me as I can delay my iPhone purchase until I see what I wanted to get.
Good job Tim Cook, I will go spend my money on something else while I wait for you finish up cooking my needed specs xD

I bought a brand new iPhone 15. Upon unboxing I found out the phone had already iOS 17.1 and the battery manufacture date as July 2023. Battery manufcature date can be viewed under General >> About.
Have I been given a used iPhone since it was already on 17.1? Please advise.

My iPod Touch running iOS 9, on the other hand, feels much more smoother.
Seems that newer iOS versions (and interestingly newer Android versions as well) are less optimized for 60hz panels based from my experience.
