Great value iPhone (if you live in the US/UK), but man I cannot stand the 60hz display. Having demoed one, the UI just feels so sluggish compared to 120hz or 90hz. I can literally see the frames from the UI animations.
What I don't quite understand though, is that their entry-level Macbooks feel much smoother when navigating through the UI, and those also have 60hz panels. So it seems like it's down to the OS?

Ok 60hz omg criminal , then iOS 17 is hot mess lol gifs was easier 16 and cameras why look so ugly on iPhones like 2 cross eyes lol. . Love my S23 so much glad I chose right and pics looked better. Apple is slipping.

Huawei Mate 60 battery capacity is 4750mAh and price also less than iphone 15.
Note: Apple, please look at the global market and release the iphone. Apple company need new strategy for R&I.

Dude that called this basic phone. basic phones nowadays may have more than 5000 mah but at least this is optimized to save battery and not burn it like you burning your money on android. second of all 3 to 4gb is the basic ram. this has 6gb. third of all we have storage options: 64 to 128gb is basic but this has 128,256 and best option of all which is 512gb

I love Apple products and genuinely thought the 15 was the best in years. I’m not a heavy mobile user, but coming from the SE 2, I was ready for an upgrade because of the battery and small screen. I also wanted the 15 because of the great cameras.
After paying an insane amount of $$$$ for it, I was shocked at the photos the 15 produced. I didn’t know the newer phones over-processed photos this much using the HDR, Deep Fusion, and whatever else! The lighting is altered, people look distorted and over-sharpened, contrast is too high and shadows are flattened…. I am so upset! My house gets lots of bright light and all the pics I take indoor darkens the entire photo, I guess in an AI attempt to “even things out.” It just doesn’t look natural to me and there are workarounds, but no absolute way to turn this off like in the older models.
Yes, I can edit the pics every time, or I can just get rid of this phone and use my current one where all the pics looks good as is. Everything else seems great; the body of the phone is beautiful. But I can’t live with a camera that uses software like this, so I’m gonna return it asap. I was hoping to use the 15 for concerts because at least the video looks great, but using it once in a while for that is not worth the high cost.
I’ll be going back to my trusty digital camera instead. I will now wait for the SE 4 and test that out before I buy a new iPhone.
