I got it after 10 years of being loyal to Galaxies.
It was either this or S23 coming from S21FE, chose this cause to me, S23 is just appalingly ugly.
All cons are valid, Apple ecosystem, 60Hz screen etc, but it is worth it. Animations are so clean and fluid you forget about 120Hz, iCloud is quite cheap (starting option) and the iPhone works so nicely and without any lagging I am absolutely happy with my choice. Not that S23 would lag or anything, this feels more optimized (overused word about iPhones, true nevertheless)
Battery is amazing, screen is beautiful and it is a powerhouse.

I have had the phone for almost 30 days now. Cycle count shows as 28 but the battery health has dropped to 99% in a month. Normal usage: social media, youtube, very light gaming. Is this normal?

Bad quality standards for what you pay for. If dont mind changing from ios to android. You better served with a Pixel 7pro or google 8 or even samsung

Is GSMarena Apple biased when it comes to screen-to-body ratio?
There is no way that the iPhone 15 with huge bezels and a ridiculously big dynamic island has an 86,4% screen-to-body ratio while the S23 with much smaller bezels and just a small dot for the camera has an 86.8%

I bought the Iphone15 and after 24h i couldnt be more regretful. Unfortunately, the store I bought the phone Eliganten in Stockholm, Sweden does not accept refunds. here is the list of issues I have found:
- Bug in setting the birth date
- Whatsapp was deleted from the phone alone and Icloud didnt backup the message history of whatsapp. So i lost every message from the last 4 years.
- the screen does not work properly, on the left edge of the phone. noticeable when typing letter "q"
- when I open the browser, the webpage blacks out several times.

My lg g5 with SD 820 (9 year old SoC) still performs pretty well still and my find x5 with SD 888 hasnt felt any slowdowns and i run emulators, create music with apps like bandlab and have usually 15+ apps constantly in the background and about 70 tabs on my web browser. Has instant loading for each app and tab and it out performed my exs iphone 13 this year.

iPhone is good if you just want to iMessage, have perfect Instagram photos, and have a simple phone that does the basic things you want it to do. They are also great for longevity, especially if you replace the battery
Android phones (high end) have better battery life, better screens, faster charging, better customisation, better multitasking, sideloading, and more opportunities to get the most out of the phone. But the trade-off is no iMessage, and way less longevity if you're a real power user.
- If you want something simple that works, and you care most about posting on social media, or using iMessage - iPhone.
- If you want something that allows you to experiment and get the most out of your phone, and are fine with less longevity - Android.
For the last 10 years I have had an iPhone and an Android at the same time. The Androids last half as long but I also push them way harder.
