I bought 6s Plus unlocked phone on the release date in Tempe, Arizona. I have received updates till IOS 15.8. That is more than 7 years of OS update. To date, I feel the OS is still smooth. One of the main reasons to switch from Android is that I didn't want to switch mobile every two or three years because the phone is slow or they stopped providing android update.

a smooth, simple to use IOS with 5 years of support. a great big screen and a pro camera. Every 3 years should be enough to upgrade :)

But in real life performance the so called a17 pro can't even rival a year old snapdragon 8gen2 when it comes to GPU and stress test. Of not because of optimization Rev wouldn't even be playable out of the box at 30fps bruh. Stop kidding yourself and wait for the real scores.

1080p 60fps is impossible to be playable with. unless you do some hardware and software modifications.
for me, i'd rather buy rog ally, steam deck or even aya neo for portable gaming. sure it doesn't have triple boba cameras but does the same job as high end pc but portable.

The fact that Resident Evil Village is basically a direct port from the PC version and still runs so well on iOS17.1.1 with the recent updates really bodes well for future releases, I can see many of the Apple haters are curious and lurking around Apple forums more than ever. 😄
