I know it very well, my 15 pro max got warm randomly for two to three days when i got this. Then Apple released iOS 17.0.3 and Instagram fixed their app and these fixed the issue and after that my phone haven't felt warm even once.

The game itself was just pure crap, luckily thanks to Apple we iPhone users can soon play real games instead crap like this 👌🏻
