Do you seriously think they would show it in keynote and release the game for iPhone if the performance isn't good or it has problems with performance. I mean wouldn't that be very negative look for Apple who just showed us how phones can now run console quality games.
By the way isn't genshin impact like the benchmark for Mobile gaming performance nowdays, how did iPhone 15 pro max beat S23 ultra without zero optimization for new chip https://youtu.be/YsLDBcBqWB8?si=RQvvhdj3Ina9Cvr9 also S23 ultra run lot warmer and also throttle.

That shows it can't handle intense power usage due to thermal design. Whenever you multitasking heavily CPU usage will be high unless you underclock it with software to avoid hardware issue with poor thermals. In other words with this thermal design it can't reach all potential this chip has.

Resident evil village is coming end of the month and this game is designed and optimized to run with new chip so we will see the real performance with very demanding game.
I think it's very funny that random guy in gsmarena comment section think Apple did major mistake with their phone, i mean we are talking about real experts who know everything about chips etc 😅

There is difference between intelligence, knowledge and intelligence with knowledge. When you'll grow up you'll understand. I love technologies but it's strange that apple does major mistake second year in a row. Last year it was battery and now thermal design is pretty poor for very capable cpu. Snapdragon gen 2 is getting lower results on benchamarks but in real life it's better and handles heat much better compared to iphone 15 pro max.

Seems like we got the next generation of flat earthers who suddenly became Currys Know-How in overheating. Overheating via software is so easy you could do it in 4 lines of code mate, so don’t try to be Currys and pretend you think you know overheating is linked to hardware only

When NVidia or someone release driver updates to address overheating issues for their GPUs for specific games, you don't go around saying its hardware issues do you. Or maybe you do because idk maybe you lack a brain

This overheating issue is temporary and when the new batch of 15's are up for sale the problem will be gone. Android vs Ios will always be around and they both have pros and cons. A lot of people love to express the cons when they feel one sided to the competitor, youll find lots of examples in these comment sections
