The 16 is just another incremental upgrade. There is nothing groundbreaking.
If your 13, 14, or 15 still does the job for you, then skip the 16.

now using samsung a52s 5g, is this phone a worthy upgrade in terms of battery (now averaging 4.5-5 hrs on mobile data) and camera? i always use 60hz on the samsung anyways. or is the 16 pro or 15 plus better value? just asking bcs i wanted the 15s but the 15 pro has supposed poorer battery than most phones

Sikkaa Kai, 09 Oct 2024I dont care about 60hz display or always on display because... moreI respect your choice but... I wonder what you mean about "show people", if you're showing your phone to other people for the Purpose of flexing it or showing off you're doing the wrong thing in general lmao, I personally use my phone at 120-144hz because it just feels super smooth compared to 60 hz. That's all...

Sikkaa Kai, 09 Oct 2024I dont care about 60hz display or always on display because... moreYeah but the problem is The port only 2.0. that was the real draw back. why not change to 3.0 for better speed charge and everything relate to that

@GSMArena: when will this phone be available in the Photo Compare Tool?
Or the tool is being decommissioned, perhaps due to pressure from some phone makers?

Anonymous, 09 Oct 2024I own a cheap $150 Android with a 120Hz display, but I only... moreBeyond the fact that you have a phone that costs $150 with a 120 Hz screen and you're strangely willing to pay $800 for a phone with a 60 Hz screen, how do you know if in the near or distant future the 120 Hz mode won't be useful for you? Maybe you'll change your mind and want to use the 120 Hz mode in your daily use of the phone? Maybe YouTube in a year or two will start giving creators the option to upload videos with super smooth movement at 120 fps? Maybe you would like to play an action game that can run at 90 or 120 fps on the iPhone? I also use the 60 Hz mode almost all the time to save battery, but it's good to have the option and there's no excuse for a phone that costs $800 not to have, among other things, a 120 Hz screen.

I dont care about 60hz display or always on display because phone stays in your pocket there is not need for both of them as it drains more battery. it is just a phone and use it as phone lol. you dont want to show people around look i have AOD and 120hz xD.. this is cheap thinking of people.
as long as I can have great battery life, great camera and performance, my usage is 2-4 hours a day using few social apps, calls and some photography if needed. i think it would be worth to upgrade iphone 16 from iphone 11 pro :D this is just a phone at least it would last 2 days for me without charging
