India's Bigbasket promises to deliver iPhone 16 at your doorstep in 10 minutes

India's Bigbasket - a Tata enterprise mainly known for doorstep grocery deliveries - has announced its partnership with Croma Electronics to deliver the iPhone 16 in India in 10 minutes.

Bigbasket's 10-minute iPhone 16 doorstep delivery service will initially be available in Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, and Mumbai. The company said it even delivered the first iPhone 16 to a customer today in Koramangala, Bengaluru, in seven minutes.

Bigbasket's partnership with Croma is a part of its foray into the electronics category, including smartphones, laptops, and PlayStations.

Circling back to the iPhone 16, it starts at INR79,900 in India, while the Plus, Pro, and Pro Max variants have a base price of INR89,900, INR119,900, and INR144,900, respectively. All models will be available in India through Apple's online and offline stores and other retail stores across the country.

The Apple iPhone 16 series is available in over 58 countries starting today, including Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, South Korea, Turkey, the UAE, the U.K., and the U.S. You can check the base price of all four models in key markets below.

10 minutes? From walking or by driving on motorcycle paired with congested traffic?
