I am an Android user. I purchased this phone in May 2025 because I was attracted to its camera controls. However, when I increase the brightness and take photos or videos, the phone heats up, so I think I may have set the performance mode too high. I also downloaded some heavy games, but I rarely play them on this phone since I usually play on my PC or old phone. When I am out of town, I play for a short while only to complete daily tasks.
I mainly use the phone for receiving messages, checking emails, occasionally watching social media (usually less than 30 minutes), and light browsing on Chrome or Safari. However, the battery still drains even when I’m not actively using the phone, as long as Wi-Fi or mobile data is turned on.

I purchase Iphone 16 Pro Max.just for show/status but i wonder when i record it got heat and screen say your phone is too hot.
i use my previous phone on Instagram ,you tube,and tweeter,and whatsaap all the time from my redmi note 13 pro +5g from the morning to evening without charging or overheating.
now what i do,i use 16PM for show and picture and calling and whatsaapbut for social network i still use my redmi.
The meaning of battery capacity does not mean so in 16PM.Cooling also for 15PM do better than this new.network the same service provider but i got poor connection.

All phones may overheat when doing long sessions of video recording. It's a constant writing of memmory, AI, software trying to recognize the scene, HDR etc. This is the most natural thing. Behind a few minute record of your dog and kids playing around there are tons of processor's work envolved so you can enjoy the best quality possible. So don't panic, every phone does it. It's nor normal if heat is for 1-2 minutes of video recording, but more than 5-10 , especiaylly on 4K 60 or ProRES video - this is natural and not considered problematic.

Aditonal update for phone is what annoys me is charging time it takes a while when you charge from 20-28% to 95 it takes more than hour on fast 33w charger. i will try to use original cable came with Iphone. Anyway battery is reasonably good.

Had phone for few hours and it’s fantastic on first use. Camera button really helpful and images are very realistic. Phone is very smooth Didn’t regret for buying and coming from 6.7 to 6.9 not a big deal it’s good size for me.

The iOS 26 just screwed my 16 pro max up.Cant make calls,but will receive calls.cant send or receive SMS can't use internet.i ve tried everything not not working.Even did reset network settings to reset all settings.but no way
