i want to buy a phone .
which is the best apple iphone 3g ,nokia n97 , sony ericsson xperia.
what are the plus points of the iphone 3g compared to the other phones i've mentioned .

This is the best phone I ever have.before i have try nokia,sony ericsson,motorolla,n samsung.they good but Iphone is the best

I hav an iPhone 3g which is jailbreak.. I week b4 I updated it from 2.1 to 3.0... Was very happy with ma iPhone 3g having 3.0... But whenever I charge iPhone 3g it get hot... sometimes it shows that it's batery is full on upper right side and on down middle screen it's battery is 20 %....
Some times I charge my iPhone 4 whole night... But when I wake at mornning and check battery but it's still zero...
when it is finally charged... its batery lost after 5 hours... I hav to charge ma iPhone twice a day...
Plz help me... Wat to do.... Does all of u people who updated ur iPhone 3g to 3.0 r recieving same problem.... Plz help....
Or I shall change it again to 2.1.... Plz help... I will be very thankful

hi, i m having problem with my Iphone 3g camera...its not working at all...i restored as new phone with 3.0..please advice....
also when i connect my connect my i phone i cannot see in my computer windows.....awaiting .....

Will you be able to use the iphone wifi to connect to the internet if you dont have a contract with free internet access?????????? Therefore to be able to download apps????????

Everybody has there own likes, I had more than 25 phones, in 5 years, and I like the iPhone 3G.I`m not saying that this is the best phone ever, but for my usage, I give it a 9 out of 10. If you dont like the phone , you can buy other phones, that is the reason why there are so many brands, for everybodys taste.

compare iphone to samsung omnia..even nokia 5800 cant beat samsung omnia..the best phone ever..
-5mp camera with flash
-run on window and samsung rom
-internal memory of 8gb and 16 gb and u can add up to 32gb external memory
-much more sensitive screen then 5800 which respond a bit badly..
-browser can run on flash
-upgradable(tonnes of application online)
-superb crystal clear sound(the other day i saw transformers on the phone in full screen,i nearly cried out of its quality)
-accelorator
-and tonnes more!!check out the specs by tying omnia at the search column..
apple is better left as pc not a phone..good compatitor for hp and all the computer base company but bad compatitor for phone base company...think about it..if u really crazy over the apple mini product just go for the ipos..its cheaper..and yeah the extra money..buy a good smartphone..not iphone ofcourse..lol

Guys...ofcourse this is an amazing mobile 4 it's screen really it's sooo gooood...but if u wanna compare it to the 5800...i think i'm gonna say the 5800 is better because:
1-u have to include the price in the comparing and this is the most important point coz the 5800 just costs 220 euros but the iPhone 3g cosot about 600 euros and this is sooo big various
2-5800 cam is sooo good and it's video recording sooo amazing and 3.2 mp but the iphone has just normal 2mp cam
3-5800 has bluetooth and the iphone doesn't
4-and finally the 5800 origin headphones has louder sound from the iphone orogon headpones
5- 5800 has stereo speakers with amazing quality but the iphone 3g has just normal speaker with low sound an so low....
so i think the 5800 way bette and exept all that just still remeber the diffrent in prices guuuuys..and byezzz

Is software 3.0 compatible with 3 g. I mean les it have any bugs. Secondly what are the major differences between it and the previous softwares. Please elaborate.

Steps to Improve battery life of iPhone
Optimize Your Settings
1.Turn of fetch data
2.Switch off 3G and Wifi if not accessing emails.
3.Turn off push mail
4.Turn off Wi-Fi if not required.
5.While in journey use flight mode which really saves battery its applicable for all mobiles.When you are not in network coverage operator searches for network so battery will be lost soon. When you reach some station or some town switch from flight mode to normal.
6.Lock Your iPhone
7.Use iPhone Regularly

IPhone 3g is amazing phone. Touch screen is pretty good and Email access as well as youtube are good. The major issue is with Bluretooth because file transfer is not availabe even though the applications are awesome. Enjoying iPhone 3G. I bought it in Scotland and Unlocked there itself. I have added video recording and external memory useage softwares. Video recording is showing good progress. All together its very nice phone

Restore your 3.0 firmware as a new iphone , do not restore your old back up in ITUNES , if you do it will suck your battery . This fix problem for me , my battery now last up to 2 days

As soon as i got the iphone 3G i knew that it was gunna b the best and i tell u it is. the only thing that sux about the 2g iphone is that it doesnt take videos, but the new 3G-S iphone series does so thats kewl.
i was wondering tho, when i use my iphone texting only, the battery died within 6hours, is that normal? coz its quite hard carrying the charger everywhere i go.

Yes, the iPhone 3G is better(than the 5800). It's got a very decent UI plus it's got a pretty powerful 3D accelerator for mobile gaming. It also has a more powerful processor (about 43 Mhz faster.) But, unfortunately, from there it goes a bit skew. It lacks a front cam for video calls, can't record videos (compared to VGA recording on the 5800), has a lower resolution screen (320x480 compared to 360x640), fixed storage (compared to hot-swap microSDHC), no radio (compared to RDS FM), and is based on a highly proprietary operating system (compared to Symbian which is moving towards open source). And for all those lacks it costs almost double the price. The only thing I like more in an iPhone is the 3D Acceleration. I could buy a PSP for the difference between the two though.
