Apple has an agreement with LG for the supply of $500,000,000 worth of screens.
Business is business, Apple can easily go somewhere else.

Apple has been very good for Samsung who supply flash memory and other components for iPods and iPhones.

I don't see why everybody seems to think that a touch screen phone with no keyboard is SUCH a hard design to make that it has to be copied. LG were making hardly any sales due to their tiny screen and lack of features for their Prada and other phones so they thought "Hey, let's sue Apple for stealing our design". Don't get me wrong, I love LG, they are a great company and the Viewty was a fantastic phone, especially for it's price, but you have to face facts sometimes.

The Useless States is way behind in cellphone, TV and internet tech.
My Samsung INNOV8 is far superior to any Iphone
Only thing America is good at is making burgers and destroying countries with WMD.

innova and x1 is better and cheapermany phones looks better on paper than the Apple iPhone 3G, but is that enough to beat the iPhone in a straight fight? NO..
all you iphone haters did now really know why iphone is better than any phone. many "iphone killers" has come and all failed, because all thought they can beat iphone only in specs but never realized who really their opponent was.. iPhone+iTunes+Apple is a great combo that killed all phones that emerges to compete with it!

D.Bp, 20 Apr 2009I work within the mobile trade and i can report that This p... moreYou may work in the mobile trade but you have a LONG way to go in understanding how the Iphone has changed the way you experience a all in one excellent mobile device, not only is a good phone, but also a very good extension of your Mac or PC and a device that can browse the Internet like no other smart phone can.
Never mind processors megabites and megapixels what matters is the use you can get out of it , not to mention the App store that no other phone has with an outstanding availability of applications that people all over the world has used to download ONE BILLION apps in ten months !

I work within the mobile trade and i can report that This phone is only useful for its internet, it is in short a jumped up ipod, LG are were the 1st and now the arena has come out it is in a different league to the iphone. plus the LG is running an AMD infineon dual core processor inside with 1GB dedicated RAM as such mine hasn't frozen once and has never slowed down, the battery life is better and above all it holds upto 40GB memory so more than double the iphone

I spend so much time doing it I have to charge the battery twice a day!
I have four other forums open on pages in the background and I just jump between them.

just a heads up for people that are big iphone lovers, I work for one of the uk biggest indepentant mobile phone companies.
My colleague just had a customer in store, customer thinking he has the latest iphone which he purchased online from Hong Kong, it was much lighter in weight, smaller screen, quality of the screen was poor, same frame size as the iphone 3G, the ring tones are also poor quality, he came to us in help as he could put his sim card in. also says its a 3.2 mp camera.
Clear wasnt an offical apple product.
Becareful what you buy online,as this customer clearly got robbed of his money without knowing it and didnt have the heart to tell him.

Oh ok, u didnt suprised me here, im working for vodafone so i know that already Mr. Cleaver!! As far as i know iphone is locked for 02 and if u unlocked it there is some issues with it later,so if there is anyone who use it with different network pls let me know;)
