Can't you just buy an unlocked one or do you prefer to get phones at a cheaper rate by going on a contract?
Like for example if hd was available with your cell provider.

well other then a few minor phones that ELF'd i had a Z510 and within 12 months the camera completely ceased function and the software went haywire, refussing to send messages and changing the date and time by itself, common problems you can read about on the phones board, and samsung also refused to repair under warranty so now i avoid their phones

I never compared n97 to omni ... morei dont think the iphone is the best, its the best for my personal, individual needs, actually i would have loved a touch HD, except they are exclusive to a specific telco in Australia, a telco i despise, the omnia? a great phone but ive had a few samsungs and the experience hasnt been a great one, and the X1 uses winmo which i dont like that much (another reason i didnt go with the HTC) also i think android is going to be a great OS as long as some more phone developers pick it up but thats way to early to see so i didnt risk trying to get a G1, which isnt available in aus anyway. satisfied?

This is the first for an n series to have qwerty and touchscreen, not to mention it has a lot the iphone doesn't have like handwriting recognition, better resolution, better camera, better music player.

If you press yes, search for wlan comes up and a list of wi fi sources you have used comes up. If you press search for wlan and you are within a unsecured wi fi area you can connect, THIS IS NOT YOUR CELL PROVIDER, because your sim card is OUT!!! I Know because I've connected before to you tube when my sim card was out!! GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT!
