Whatever you say nokia N95 is no match for the Iphone.I have been using nokia n95 for a while and it is a pain in the a.s.s
No qwerty keyborad how can you type an emial is impasible and it looks like cheap plastick the parts are not maching together + very small screan. But the new HTC 3.8 inch phone could be an Iphone killer however iphone will not stand still i am sure the new iphone witch could be on the market next year will make you jealous you do not own it.....

I know the interface of the iphone mp3 is nice, but what is more important , looking or listening and being able to hear. Iphone volume is no match for the n95 volume!

Check out You Tube" I didn't know you can see what people are holding when they are recording at concerts. Well i can tell you for sure they are not recording with the iphone!! I just saw Journey in toronto which was fantastic and some of it was on you tube but it was a video taken from up high, you could tell. That is someone the group has allowed to do this, not just your average concert goer!

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970I know what voice dialing is silly willy. Why did you only cut and paste the first part of what I said. Why didn't you cut and paste the part where I mentioned making outgoing calls =) I was simply making a point that you can answer and make a call with the iphone while driving =)

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Some concerts allow video cameras. Check out YouTube. Gosh, from which poor area did you come from, lol. Well if you don't want to get tied with a phone carrier, that is fine, but it's no reason for you to bash the iphone. Now that's dumb, lol. You are lying, the iphone has better quality mp3 than your N95, even professional critics would attest to that. You know why? N95 owners still buy ipods. What does that tell you? LOL.

GUYYZZZ....ur acting like stupid kids. Iphone is a cool device. I have both generations and I had your so called super wooper N95 and HTC Diamond. They are all phones. N95 nice symbian + gps (that is limited by nokia)...but the browser sucks and honestly it feels like a small brick in my pocket. The Iphone 2G... first multi-touch screen that raped every mobile company. It doesn't have gps and its locked in "Steve's Itunes system". However its 3.5 glass touchscreen and its OSX proved that more will show up in the future. The HTC diamond...pretty phone..VERY SLOW...plastic film over the touch-screen and it was heating up so fast I could of fried eggs on it. Iphone 3G improved 2G only with a 3G chipset improved AMR and GPS chip. What I am trying to say that companies build their phones for different tastes. Its all about making money, you guys. They could put everything into a phone...but what would be the point. They want to sell sell and sell...if you have a nokia stick to your nokia page and gossip all you want about HTC, Apple or Sony. Same for the rest. Just don't post stupid things that make you look stupid. Maybe somebody is trying to look up, how the Iphone pairs with Jawbone 2 and so on...but on this page all you see is "the iphone killer HTC HD" or "nokia has this "krap" and apple doesn't. Keep this site informative....

                  Peace out!

anon, 19 Sep 2008should i or should i not buy this phone ? and if not what... moreIf you like touchscreen phones, then you should definitey buy this phone. Otherwise, get the motorola music phones, they're quite cool and dependable. Or, you can wait for a couple more months, for there's a big chance that other phonemakers might release android touchscreen phones, which I believe has similar ease and fluidity as the iphone's OS, but would have tons of features more than the iphone, and more freedom. Even the Meizu Minione is worth checking out and could be a good option as well. Meizu is coming out either in October the earliest, or November the latest. Then there is of course HTC Dream that will be using android that is also coming out soon. Still, iphone is a very good option, but of course it's better to have more options and try them all, then make a decision.

Believe me, I use my iphone every day while driving, and so does the other millions who have bought it. You do not need voice dialing to answer a call while driving. Just press the answer button on your BT headset. Yes, it takes two hands to use the iphone in most cases, but you get to enjoy its beautiful screen, so its worth it. As for making a call when driving, you can use one hand with the iphone. It does not take 2 hands to scroll through your contacts, or to press on the number pad. See, you're only try too hard to pull down the iphone to the extent that you are getting unreasonable =)

Allan, 19 Sep 2008Get your facts straight, n95 has vga resolution at 30 fps. ... moreTo Allan. Again, the N95 only has qvga screen resolution. Read its specs. Wired headphone still delivers better quality audio than BT stereo headsets anyway, so we do not need your BT stereo headsets. Who cares about auto-focus and flash when you have a digital camera. I guess for you it's a problem because you probably cannot afford a real quality digital camera, lol, so you settle for so-so quality pictures and videos from your phone, lol. By the time my iphone's battery goes dead, which will probably be 4 years from now, I would've already bought a new iphone. But of course for poor people like you who keeps a phone for a lifetime, it is imperative that you should be able to open the back of your phone to change the battery. Like I said, the iphone is for those who can afford it. Not for the compromising poor fellows.

So you need to get your facts straight. Also, there's nothing stupid about Apple opting out on video capture. Because it is stupid and cheap to take videos using a camera phone. Unless of course you are a poor person that cannot afford a digital camera to take quality videos, then I would understand, but then again, if you are poor, the iphone is not for you. Also, there is nothing stupid about not being able to take out the iphone's battery. Unless of course you change the battery of your phone every week, then that would be a major problem. How can the N95 have the better mp3 player than the iphone? LOL. Scrolling is faster in the iphone than the N95. The graphics look better on the iphone. Forwarding and rewinding is better on the iphone, and the iphone is definitely louder. I had the N95 so don't tell me that it has better mp3 quality than the iphone because it does not. Now stop with your make believe.

On BT. You can pair any headset BT device with the iphone, so please do not spread false information. As for pairing it to your pc or mac, there is an application called "Air Share" that you can use instead of BT. It's faster and easier because you can simply drag and drop. Also, you need a reality check with the use of BT on phones.

On predictive text. I find this feature very helpful. It's 99% accurate and it helps speed up my typing. It would be nice if you can turn it off especially when you are typing a message in another language. But I need it on most of the time anyways, so it's not a major pain for most instances.

On iphone's font. You can enlarge it by going to the settings. I believe there are 5 font sizes you can choose from.

On SMS forwarding. Type your own sms. It's actually fun with the iphone. I only see this as a major problem if you forward SMS regularly every day, do you?

On sorting web pages bookmarks. Scrolling is a breeze with the iphone, and it's also fun. This would be a problem if your phone has an unresponsive screen, but not the iphone.

On call records. Incoming and outgoing calls are mixed but they are labelled as well, so you would still know whether it was in or out.

On Myspace music. That is really low, lol. You do not really go to myspace to listen to music. The iphone's ipod takes care of that.

Well the iphone is much better used with two hands because it's wider than most phones. Common sense. The iphone's screen is responsive but intuitive at the same time. Unless of course you have arthritis or the shakes syndrome, then I wouldo not advice you to get the iphone or any touchscreen phone for that matter. Although some actions you can operate the iphone with 1 hand. Like when you choose an application. You can use your thumb on that one. Or even when scrolling and flipping.

On screen size. It is true that even with the iphone's bigger than most screen, it's still not the most convenient way to browse the web. That's why it's only there if you need to do a quick search on the web, or when you need to go to the web and there's no PC or laptop available. It's not intended to replace your PC or laptop because no phone can. With your mentality like that, why was myspace an issue with you then? LOL.

On your N95's 5mp camera. That's nice, but sorry, my Canon is still better than any camera phone out there. The camera on my iphone will always be just a back up camera, even if it has 8mp, I would still take with me my Canon to take pictures.

That situation you've mentioned about the last app popping up when you've already exited out, is unheard of. Please video that situation and post it on YouTube. Otherwise, you are just making that up.

The qwerty keyboard of the iphone is bigger than most phones out there, and it is definitely bigger than your N95, so there is no reason for you to complain. Don't blame the iphone for your mistakes caused by your old habits.

The iphone 3g's jack is the standard 3.5mm, so it would accept any 3.5mm phonejacks. Please do not make false comments.

As for your N95. It only has a qvga resolution. Small 2.8 screen. Screen protection is plastic that scratches easily. Built with cheap plastic. Has a creaky, lose quality. Feels cheap in hands. Slow in retrieving pictures. Slow in zooming pictures. Slow in flipping pictures. Does not have an application store. You're left on your own in searching for 3rd party apps. Mp3 player not as organized as the iphone's. Mp3 audio quality is not as great as the iphone's. YouTube application is useless. Poor video quality. If you want more, I can continue.
