Any truth to what I read today? Apple has admitted that it has the ability to remotely control the iPhone (ostensibly to remove hacked/unlicensed software or fight viruses.) The Consumer's Union here in Italy is talking about taking action to force Apple to remove from sale all iPhones that can be remotely controlled, and to replace all iPhones already sold with this technology because Apple did not reveal this before the phones went on the market. The CU maintains that it is a breach of privacy.

guyver3, 13 Aug 2008who cares about the touch screen. iphone 3g softwares are j... moreYes, go look up the Nokia Tube.

Just because the N95 has more specs than the iPhone doesn't mean it's superior. The iPhone is aimed at a certain market and if it's not for you then don't whine, no one wants to hear it! The iPhone's OS and internet browsing abilities are much better than the N95's. I work for a phone company and know all about both phones, but I'd choose the iPhone as internet is most important to me besides being able to call and txt. I wouldn't even look twice at the N95 after seeing the iPhone!

The point of this ramble is just because you can't see what's so great about it, doesn't mean other people won't. Everyone has an opinion and different people have different needs for a phone.

You can't buy it outright, so obviously you have to be with Vodafone on a 24 month contract to use it if you buy from Vodafone.

                Make sense?

i have changed many many phones over the last year and i mostly use PDAs. The Iphone 3g is great for what I need it for,as a phone, emails, speed and music. It has all that. For me there is nothing in the market that is close. I tried the samsung i900. got rid of it the next day. All the phones claim they have same iphone interface. I am sorry but there is no comparison. They are light years away. i have not even mentioned the pictures on the iphone, programs to dowload, access to itunes etc. Please guys if you hate the iphone then dont F---ing buy it.

I have finally purchased the phone a few days ago. So far the phone work fine with me. There are a lot of argue about this phone. The argue will never end. I think this phone is very great. It is not right to compare this phone with other phone in the market. This is not only a phone. This is not only a PDA phone. This is a PDA phone with a big screen. A screen that you can read clearly. If you like this phone, then go get one. If you hate this phone, go buy something else. We are supposed to give opioion about this phone only. Please read the top of this page...if you guys can read English. If you want to talk about other phone, please go to the proper place. Please respect to other people choice.

iphone 3g looks the same as the normal iphone but there is a plastic back instead. my friend has an iphone 3g . he dropped it and it smashed into several pieces. video and music quality is excellent and so is call quality.text messaging takes some getting used to.overall i give it a 7.8 out of 10.not a very good phone!

why don't you view the descriptions of both phones and compare the supremacy. you will notice the n95 has more to offer: 5.o mega pixel with flash, varrio tessar lens, and carl zeiss optics, pocket pc..etc..n95 is an all around phone. i bet nokia is planning to add the touch screen on their cel phones.
