is the back cover of this iphone 3G is easy to be scratched????
it has plastic finished at the back, but the old iphone seems better because it has metal finished cover at the back...

hey guys....i m from india and is willng to buy this fone. i want to some clearification about it specifications. can any 1 plz help me out plz..actulaay i want to knw if this fone hangs or freezes, i also want to know dat if one can connect this phone with any other fone like nokia e90 etc..my last ques is that...ARE there any software sites available from which i can download any of it softwares like flash player and anti virus for free...plz do reply me on my id creative_ron@yahoo.co.in.thanking u oll in anticipation

The only reson i'd buy this is a) if i wanted to blow all my money on this and b) if i was in desperate need in both and ipod and a phone. I have to say im in neither of those situations. I think that this may actually be the best phone of 2008, although it might be overshadowed by a nokia or whatever. Definetly good buy if need ipod and phone and organiser. I have to say my friend has one and he LOVES it. ( thats an understatement)

This phone is the most expensive stupid phone ever buil. No bluetooth with other phones, Only 2MP camera, No MultiMedia Messages and the biggest feature of this phone is unilmited phone numbers =)) very usefull

Considering the fact that m using iphone since an year or so i can say with very much assurance that currently iphone is da best cellphone in market......the whole world's going crazy for it...all companies have now started bringing da same kinda cell in da market....m very much surprised reading the first guy's comment on it expressing his hatred for iphone...since i m not authorised to use foul language out here, i wud just say dat before expressing an amateur opinion n making a fool of themselves before da world, people shud first understand its wide range of specifications n never ending features, then comment on it..

Ok, gota admit design of the iphone is really nice and also the awsome ipod function. But apart from that iphone really dont have much more to offer. It has a really poor camera, it's not even a good quality 2mp camera, cant take videos. No 3G video calling. The third party application you mentioned just makes me laugh, iphone has one of the most contravertial design in terms of 3rd party application installing(what do you think all the news and criticism is about), phones like N95 or perhaps SE have way more third party application. Things like youtube, gps etc dude nowdays most phone have those functions too so appearing on iphone is nothing special. I have nothing against iphone just think that for it's price and plan there are better phones out there

Samsung's, SE's, HTC's and LG's display suffers under sunlight. So how can the iphone be useless? The iphone also has the best web browser, better than Nokia, Samsung, SE, HTC & LG. So how can it be useless? It's a phone and an mp3 player and also a photo album that pictures actually look like pictures in its big display. So how can that be useless? It has a line of after market applications available. Applications like dictionary, currency converter, movie guide, restaurant guide, news, games, bible, finance management, medical, pharmacy, etc. So how can you say that it is not useful. It has realtime weather, You Tube, maps, gps, etc. How can that be not useful? I think you're just bitter that you cannot afford the iphone.

hi how is the sound on the iphone without earphones/earbuds/what ever you want to call them plug in
and the GPS on the Nokia N95 when you opened the maps it logs onto the internet does the iphone do that to

Great Phone!!! No question. In Italy, as in other part of Europe, we can buy it at almost with no costs for the phone with Vodafone or Tim. Believe me is not only for rich people...Please don't be like the fox and the grape (http://www.bedtime.com/html/fox_and_grapes.html)...Taste it!!!!

overall, crap.
i waste my money buying this 3g. even bought 16gb. gonna stick to my other phone sony ericsson p1i. i am selling it right now.

Although the iPhone has a fluid and fun user interface, because Apple have created a 'closed' hardware platform (battery, camera etc), it cannot be improved and we are stuck with it's flaws for 18 months. For example, Sony Ericsson can draw upon their years of experience in Lithium Ion battery technology which is why, no matter your preference, their phones provide the best talk time - by far. If Apple had created a more modular device enabling them, accessory vendors or even users (us!) to swap out specific components, life would be sweet.
