so by the time u get ur heands on this toy u spend about 400 us and and more all this for what ?
yes is a nice heavy toy but that is all 500.000 iphone 3g sold so far ...i think i am goin mad here ...

a great device, but it could be better:
- no HID headlights.
- no rain sensor wipers.
- no foglamps.
- no EURO Level4.
Oh, my mistake. I thought this is the site to review compact cars.

apple will never be out of buisness because their company is rich if they were poor they wouldnt still have ads on telly my ipod mini which i sold coz it was old 2 months ago lasted from 2001 till now and its just like new so how can apple be out of busness ppl go 4 there ipods not thyeir phones my apple iphone has alot of features compared to nokias

This board looks like a fight in a school playground.
1. The iphone 3g has bluetooth for use with headsets but not file transefer.
2. No MMS cappability
3.No Video recording.
4. Sub standard camera
5.inability to use MP3 as ringtone.
6. initial difficulties acessing ITunes (no resolved for now)
7. Constantly connecting to internet for updates which whne roaming costs a fortune even when ya not doing anything.
8. extremly poor battery life.
9. plastic case as opposed to the old metal case.
Need I go on this is a 2008 phone with 1998 specs if thats what floats your boat then great.

Hi everybody.Each and everyone has their own opinion which is natural of course.However one thing I cant understand whith some friends who keep on criticising the iphone.Why dont they accept that iphone set a new trend of mobile phone on the market and see whats happening now.The Samsung Omnia is only a copy of iphone with a 5mp cam.S Ericson is also following HTC also.Now if the iphone does not have some features you can still download it from the application.Some people are always negative!!!!

brian, I meant that nokia's product is mainly cell phones. Apple just started with phones. Camera wise nokia phones are more advanced due to Carl Zeiss optics, xenon flashes, and vario tessar lenses. I am sure iphone will develop its camera like that in the future..hopefully, and nokia will come out with a touchscreen.

I wish it has an improve camera over the first version, a proper video recorder app already installed. Bluetooth for file transfer is definately preferable.

To enter a new contact, go to the keypad part of the phone enter the number and instead of pressing call, press the little person with the + sign next to it.
In the settings under Mail Contacts Calendar you can import SIM contacts.
iTunes will also sync with Outlook, Outlook express like 90% of other phones.
