I think that is the point why Appple 3G is awesome not because of bluetooth, not because of external memory, not because of camera but most importantly this device is designed for internet availability on yuor pocket with very wide and nice screen, fast speed of access, ease of use and for music and internet based entertainment.. plus of course the music player

Not very impressed. Its best feature is its screen, really nice for looking at pictures and browsing internet. Downside is its huge, a brick in your pocket. Also the camera is 2 mp which is pathetic for this day and age. Video recording is a joke too. At least it FINALLY has 3G bout time it got up to speed on that.

the phone is awwwwwsome and i absolutly love it . i got it on a 3 year contract with rogers canada . although it crashed on me once and i had to call rogers and they showed me how to turn it on again but still i love it soooooooooooooooo much , specially the gps works as good as a car gps my one button touch yahoo mail and also gmail is fantastic to and needless to say the ipod is fabulase too .
so it is incredibly apealing , sexy and funcional .
i know i know it doesnt have video recording but who the hell cares , it has so many other stuff yhat i really dont think about video .
one touch wheather , one touch stock report , one touch youtube , fantastic safari with super , super fast 3g netork on roger oh boy i am one happy dude ,
so go get it or stay jealous .

The interface is poor on the appeal compared to the style of the phone. with no java and bluetooth..yes, every one is charging the 8gb or 16gb electronic brick...

I am N... moreJohan - if you are not happy, you better change the phone with the same contract...by buying a different phone..ATT still has better phones but not so hyped. I am using LG Vu which is so far good except for features like GPS, exchange server. The interface is excellent than ifone...the only thing is you will be paying additional price..for the fone

Quite worthless phone that's going for sale ASAP.
I am NOT happy with the battery life.
I am NOT happy with the camera.
I am NOT happy with how tangled in I feel by using all the proprietary stuff Apple stands for.
I am NOT happy with the less than average build quality.
I am NOT happy with it not having even the simplest MMS-program by default.
I am NOT happy with the screen-quality (Yellowish).
I am NOT happy with the price for this 3 year behind product.
In short... I regret every day except the first one I spent with it. I also regret looking/acting like a fool in the line trying to get one...
My appologies to the other phone-producers that I dissed during my wait for this worthless piece of crap. I'm now looking for alternatives (LG? Samsung? HTC) from a real producer.

SMT, 18 Jul 2008iTunes itself can makes ringtone and upload to ur iPhone 3G... moreyeah but it's not free to do ringtones in iTunes unless u do it the way I said!!!!!!

Man, I love my new toy! works like a dream, fits in any pocket and makes everyone jealous (although most, as with this blog, won't admit it and rather slate the product.)
If you own one and don't like it, please tell us why. If you don't own one, what the hell are you doing commenting on it?

To those that do not like this phone, you do not understand technology. To those that say any other user interface is better, you are extremely uneducated... And to those that say WINDOWS MOBILE IS GOOD... you shouldn't own a phone as you don't own a brain

Well, it is a very nice phone for buisness people who travel alot and need access to their emails. In my opinion it is a wonderful phone, because of its internet capabilities and downloadable apps. I have had it for a week and have no problens with it so far. I wish people would STOP complaining about the camera because HONESTLY, Ever heard of a Digital camera!!! And as for the Bluetooth file transfering, First, it is a thing that 12 year olds use at school to transfer pointless ringtones and stuff, secondly, it will almost certainly come out as an app in the app-store sometime. Same for MMS! And why OH WHY do you need MMS when you have HTML RICH emails?? Anyway.... All up a great phone from Apple... Well done 8.5 stars! =D

guys im in s.a. and using iphone and n95, nt to discriminate but n95 is the best and for touch screen- iphone does it, so i actually enjoy having 'em both.

If your 3G iphone has access to internet and with unlimited data packet usage, this one really rocks... the best handheld device because ease of use, fast and very nice screen..
