But if you go just for the looks and a touch screen then apple but i feel is it s the Crappiest phone of the year .i wish apple made all features available i would have bought it anyways waiting for the next version

To those that just got the iPhone 3G.
Do you guys care that the back is made of plastic this time, & not metal?
My AT&T contract is up in a couple months, & I was gonna get the iphone 3G, but I am disappointed that Apple made the back out of plastic.
What the hell for??.....Apple could've easily made the back black or white, & still made it from metal.
It always seems that when mobile companies add upgraded specs to a phone, or newer model, the build always has to suffer.
Nokia for example could easily make an N95 spec phone with the same build quality of an 8600 Luna or 8800, but always use plastic.
Motorola is the ONLY company that knows how to properly construct a solid phone. The use steel, or some other type of metal, & hardened glass on their high end phones.
I am sick & tired of seeing phones that cost over $500.00 made out of plastic!!!

got a 8gb phone on friday.first impressions excellent.its way ahead of other makes.very user friendly,fast internet,the gps is fast and accurate.i was also surprised at the camera,although 2g the photos look great.only downside needs charging every night especially with heavy use.otherwise excellent phone.highly recommended.

Since the iPhone came, we have haters and lovers and people who do not have an idea but buy it because other say it is max. I bought the F480 few days ago, after negotiating with myself about the iPhone or the Samsung. I need to say, the second iPhone generation looks not that bad but I refuse to buy it because of the marketing.Today I am writing this from Tokyo where the iPhone is launched right now. Long lines are waiting for the shops many many hours, outside it is 35 degrees and the sun shine as hell, come on , this is what marketing do with people, make them so crazy they think they need the toy, and not even tomorrow, but right now. 35 degrees and hours waiting in the sun, that can never goes well. Without all these hype, I think I should buy an iPhone too, but now...thanks. By the way the F480 is not bad too, read the test results first, maybe you may decide the marketing will not catch your money

So it was just a matter of time that they introduced the Iphone and offered it to me. I also DO have a data package currently...but paying less than half of any data plan out there.

1 cannot forwards msg s o wats this? Even a basic nokia 1100 has this and they say its a phone joke :)
2 o o a music phone with no a2dp profile ha ha joke no 2 :)
3 a music phone with no fm radio ha ha well if you want please get an accessory and pay me ok
3 this is a revolutionary product so please pay for everythin ok for ex ringtones:)
4 cannot transfer contacts through bluetooth cause this is a revolutionary product so pay me and sync from apple store
5 a revolutionary product cannot take videos and has the worst 2mp cam
6 a yellow screen but don worry its a revelvutionary product with a warmer tone and ppl believe it 6 cannot be used to even read mms and still ppl really think its revolutionary

You know what...
Im sick of hearing people go back and forth about the Iphones (both models). If you simply do not like Apple or the phone itself, good for you and save your breath (or keystrokes for that matter). Apple is doing their part just like any other cell phone company when it comes to Hype, Distribution, Marketing, etc... and WE, the customers are reacting to their efforts. So, of course they are a definite success when it comes to profits and happy customers. But of course, the Iphone and/or 3G isnt perfect, but come on...which phone actually is? This device comes with everything you basically NEED. Phone, Camera (standard), SMS, MP3 player (8GB or 16 GB), Calender, Applications, PC-Sync, I can go on and on. I just laugh when I hear people complaing about the camera or the speakerphone quality. But hey, not all phones are perfect. If you're crying about a better camera, buy a GOOD CAMERA!
Then there are the unionized haters of the Iphone...everyone has their own opinion, and this is mine. The Apple Iphone (3G) simply has an APPEAL to it, that we love so much. Lets say for instance, Ferrari or Benz? Same dual between the Iphone and the N-series phones. Both are great at their own things, but at the end of the day each customer decides on their needs and wants (or desires lol).
Again, the Iphone has that certain 'appeal' to it thats got everyone going crazy. I cant lie, I've ordered it yesterday on the release date and its coming in a few days time. (By the way, im probably the only person in Toronto, OR Canada to be able to get the Iphone from Rogers: OFF CONTRACT, NO DATA PLAN, and for only $200 :) Don't ask how, because thats just foolish, but I do take pride in it, as I am just a regular customer with perks).
It serves my basic needs:
1)Phone
2)MP3/Video Player (8GB's worth!)
3)Wi-Fi
4)I just look bad ass.
Enough Said. To those who are thinking of getting this phone, do some research, look at it, go spend some time with it at the store. And if it suits your needs, BUY IT. If you find that you dont, find yourself another phone, and stop hating on the rest of us who actually find this phone to be appealing and proper to our NEEDS.

Hi, All I know that old model of Iphone is So protected. here is example. My Iphone fall down into the toilet all the way and i couldn't get it for like a 10 min, what saved my Iphone is clear plastic that i got on Ebay, that plastic
covers all phone, and because of that water didnt have a place to get in but, after i get it out, water was all the way in. Iphone didnt!!! but after 3 days when i left it on my heater Phone got dry and worked Perfectly!!!

to all u sad sad people who have even considered buying this gloryfied ipod u quiete obviously havent got the first idea about mobile phones i mean come on a 2mp camera they are 5 years since!! No bluetooth? All proper phones have bluetooth!! And no video! Wots all that about!! Lol lol lol @ all u sad sad people when u grow up u will appreciate proper mobile phones!!
