This is a gadget, not a phone. It would be have made a great PDA in the 90s....
But for a business person, the Iphone is terrible. Typing on screen is not easy. There's no option to connect a bluetooth keyboard. Battery life is not as advertised, and on top of that there's no way to carry an extra battery.
It's heavy, it's fragile, in short...

The iPhone really is one of the best phone out there...I have a ROKR E6 and it has a 2 MP camera in it and does fine...why would you complain about a camera in a phone..if you want to take a great picture buy a REAL camera and anyone that says anything bad about the iPhone is someone that really hasn't used one and probably never will. I have friends that hate Apple computers until they used one, now they love them. so I will say this iPhone is the best phone out there.

Checked out the new Apple Iphone here in Australia today. Looks Great but thats all it really has going for it.There are some much beter phones around but if its looks you want then go for it.Look into it before buying as you will be dissapointed.Wait for the Samsung i900 omnia.

i do agree with what u said!
my personally opinion is
this 3g iPhone is more like the N95
not too long after N95 came out
and we get the N95 8g
i thing iPhone 3g 2gen will out in a year!
its a shame for Apple bring such a 3giPhone
to the market!

the Cam is 2mp! the image quality for a 2mp Cam is still good though!

Aus Optus and Vodafone released iPhone 2day!
The screen is very bad compair to the First iPhone, its darker and more BLUE colour!
Speaker is weak too!

The phone is cutting edge technolgy in progress
it's beautiful and if need an attractive phone with great features GET IT touch screen is enough for me really and it's very aesthetically pleasing...I don't need it to cook dinner and take out the garbage already.
Just had to say something positive if you hate it so much why is everybody gona buy it anyway...

I've heard of some of the cool features the new Iphone gets apart from 3G?
It has the same 2 mega pixel camera as the old one, and no flash.
It can't send Picture messages. But others can ones sent to you via a really long annoying emaily address it gives you, where you login and you get a thumbnail of the original picture. (mms)
No Copy and paste! (even phones before colour had copy and paste)
No more upgraded storage. same as old phone.
Few upgrades in software, but thats free to anyone with the original phone.
only 1 personal ring tone.
no video recording (which is strange as its meant to be be the most hi-tech phone available)
you can only use Bluetooth as your head set, and nothing else. No Stereo....
Battery can't be replaced.
screen resolution is still low, compared to other phones.
But you do get better battery life. :)

whats all d fuss abt the camera?u wanna good camera den go buy urself a slr or a dslr.its a mobile and does a lot and a lot better den other phone in the market.

This handset is so overated its not true! This is more or less a 3g version of the 1st i-phone! Still no mms, no bluetooth file transfer and no video! Not to mention it feels cheap compared to the original,each unit cost Apple £25 to make! Apple have missed a trick again! Why will it sell,coz of that little Apple logo on the back!

In less than one hour my opinion is set. It's bad. It's slow, the camera is one of the worst 2 Mp's ever. It's to dependant on internet. I could go on and on by I can't find the courage to discredit one of my favorite brands.
