About the material of the new generation (3G), Does it support old feature of solidity as the old version? Since I have noticed that it is lighter than the old one (2G) although all its dimensions have been increased.

Okay so im now interested in the iPhone_3G it looks A LOT more promising than the previous. What id like to know is that is there going to be some kind of app that allows it to record videos, copy & paste and do Bluetooth file transfer? Thanx.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970They are free with purchase, for a limited time only, while supplies last, must be eligible, some restrictions apply; price does not include, doc, tax, and entry fee.

I need help about this...I have now Family plan with AT&T and my line is 9.99 each month..Now, i heard if i buy Iphone 3G on July 11, they will change my 9.99 to 39.99 and each additional line..I mean if this is correct, then i wold say apple or att going to kill people and they don't think about they customers, they think only make some money..But i dont care about any iphone or iphone 3g, i will go with nokia or other great phones if this information will be as i say..How come ? and why ?? we have to pay 199.00 for this phone, and we will pay 30.00 for data plan ( non free sms ) and additional 39.99 for family plan ?...Please help me understand if this information is correct...

WTF??? cool :))) in this opinions section u can actually learn how to write in english :))))))
stick to the subject people!
anyway... i dont like Iphone .. its made for stupid users who wants to be in fashion.
apple has found again another way to extort money from american users, and now they come to europe... hah...
have any1 bothered to read the news section on gsmarena?? if not... read here: "AT&T announced Apple iPhone 3G pricing plans today, so countdown to 11th July will likely involve quite a bit of number crunching.
New subscribers and legit upgraders will be getting the new 8GB version for $199, or another $100 on top for the 16GB variety. The asking price for current AT&T customers who are not eligible for an upgrade is $399 for the 8GB model and $499 for the 16GB model.
A contract-free iPhone 3G gets mentioned as well, though there's no actual commitment to a release date. Pricing goes $599 (8GB) and $699 (16GB).
No-contract iPhone 3G are more likely to first surface in Europe, given the recent announcement by Vodafone Italy. Pre-paid service iPhone 3G was said to start retailing at 499 euro, while the iPhone 3G 16GB would cost 569 euro.
O2 also have a Pay & Go iPhone section, which lists coming soon for the time being. Some of our keen-eyed visitors have noticed that O2 have actually posted some Pay & Go iPhone prices some weeks ago and then took them offline shortly after. The reported figures are pretty much similar to what AT&T and Vodafone Italy will offer - 299 GBP for the 8GB one, and 359 GBP for the 16GB one.
By the way, if you'd like to see what you're getting for your money (beside them texts, data and calls courtesy of AT&T), check out the iPhone 3G"
How stupid a person could be to pay 569 euro for a phone that does nothing, this phone is good only 4 media playback
thats it... no mms, lame camera, lame sound .. mono... no viderecording (unless u pay... again apple knows how to extort money), no customized mp3 ringtones unless u pay, the list could go on and on .. i'm really not in the mood for show cons of this phone.
apple will always find stupid peoples to buy their stupid products... good for apple.
ahhhhhhhhhh
spend your money on a phone that is less advanced than an old NOKIA 6230i or a SE K750i or a samsung d600 and i can go on and on......
honestly when i saw 4 the first time the iphone i was excited to buy it ... but when i started to google it i realized that this phone is a piece of junk
adios

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Well, I'd have to say your reply was, in my opinion, too harsh. Maybe saying it was extremely rude would be correct.
But, I'd like to point out, you have made quite a few grammar and punctuation errors. I won't say you've been hit in the head; but I'd like to ask how you missed the -
• Be polite...,
• Expressions of hatred...,
and
•No all caps...
rules before you made your post?
So, I'll end my post this way:
I have the original iPhone; I've had it since it was released; I was one of the many standing in line; to this day...I have no regrets or buyers remorse. It's certainly not the best; but I love it all the same. :)))
