I agree with you fighter. Apple still behind with the state of the art technologies. 3G and 2.0 MP Camera have been there 3 yrs ago. Apple R&D Designers need to orient on robust and user friendly design of products.

3G? still I'm not impressed with the design. The dimension still too big, the width is good but the lenght and the width, still bothering me. Also, they did'nt upgrade the resolution of the camera? still 2.0 MP. They supposed to upgrade all the specifications. I will skip not buy this 2nd Gen. I'll wait for the 3rd generation if and only if they upgraded everything, to that's why it became cheap. Hello! Designer's what going on?

There are fakes around, it's possible this person picked up one of these. I hear the screens are quite durable so if it scratches easily, one should be suspicious of its authenticity. The IPhone has a revolutionary interface - that's it. It's just a basic phone underneath. If you just make calls, send texts and listen to music and like flashy things, buy the IPhone (if it's in your budget). There are many more (and IMHO better) choices out there.

Apple makes great products, but their phones are just terrible. Every company has a phone that has 5 megapixel camera, 3G, WiFi, and GPS.
Apple has all that but missing the 5 megapixel camera. They have BRAINWASHED consumers to buy their items. Instead look for better phones such as: Nokia N95 8Gb, N90, Htc Cruise, Sony Ericsson w960i. etc...

Tap SMS to go to "Text Messages", and then slide your finger rightwards on the message that you want to delete, then tap on "delete".

why is it still same as the last one as locked and required 2 years of contract from AT&T. it sucks. and its not working properly if its unlocked. so, its not just cost $199. apple is asking too much for just a touch screen 3g phone.

Got a question to ask you all!!
Do you guys & girls think that it will be hard to get an iphone 3g from Optus or Vodafone on or around the release date from them.
Do you think there will be line ups everywhere to get one,
also...
Has anyone of you considered buying one of ebay.com.au and if so, whats your thoughts?

offcourse you can have your own ringtones you customize your ringtone with your favorite artist you just have to download the right software cause i can do it

Ilove Apple and all their products ipod,itouch etc but after buying the Iphone 3G I am highly unimpressed, it stalls, picture drops out,you need two hands to use it so using whilst driving etc is impossible, the screen is scratchedand have taken the upmost care with it,such as making sure its ALWAYS in apocket with no coins,keys etc

On the OLD APPLE PHONE, it didn't allow you to have your own choice of ring tones from your favorite artist...WOULD THIS NEW APPLE IPHONE 3G ALLOW IT? OR STILL THE SAME OLD RING TONES THEY GIVE US TO USE?? Because i would love to personalize my own ring tones each call like other cell phones do.
