But please be aware, to crack down on the amount of people buying and registering the correct way, you now have to purchase instore and register instore rather than activating via itunes at home! your only other option is to purchase on prepay but expect to pay £399 uk pounds on o2! but later this year look out for the iphone 3g also on the orange network (contract only!

bluetooth can only be used with headset??? so you cant recieve or send any music, pikz or vids??? what a waste

this phone has 3 gg connection high speed internet iphone dint put a secondary videocall camera

Can we use our own ringtone in the new iPhone 3G? Or send multiple SMSes at a time? Don't tell me the only change is the size and a 3G function? o.O Replies will be appreciated.

armaan, 23 Jun 2008the phone is stated to be released on july 11th in the U.S.... moreyeah bro i have the same question as i'm thinking about getting a piece from the US & using it here,i'm even ready to go to delhi to get this done but will it be possible?that is the question,pppl say apple have tried their best that ppl cant just buy 1 & use it anywhere & in any other network the earlier model cud b easily unlocked & used here,sme of my friends have done it but about dis one i'm in 2 minds,but i say theres a cure 2 evrything,do you have any info about this?

apple should had released the 3G version long ago. With remarkable handsets from other brand like touch diamond, omnia, blackberry bold...the iphone will going to have a tough competition.

I will not be able to push it (via bluetooth) to my friend or even sync my device with my PC (yes... still on PC) via bluetooth? Instead I will have to my carrier to send it via e-mail? 1-0 for Orange Romania (they have the "monopol" in terms of Apple 3G)

- Network Lock & Carrier Lock
- Cannot function out of the box
- GPS is there but NO turn by turn is dumb
- Software upgrades needs payment
- Multiple Applications cannot run in background
- Plastic Body, iPhone V1 was metal body

wot if a customer wants an iphone & has the watch already? also.. send an MMS i dare yah!!!! & the reason it doesnt have a flash is coz it has a ambient light sensor, so the phone can detect the lighting & adjust accordingly..
i agree its a fantastic phone, but the apps it can do doesnt really outweigh the lack of the now common features in other phones..

why would you even need Bluetooth when you can send large files via wifi by many iPhone 3rd application programs. I only wanted the Bluetooth for linking it with a gps receiver but since they built the gps into the phone, there is no use for a Bluetooth other than for a head set ( which I use with the first gen iPhone) . iPhone 1 apple complainers 0. ... Except for the camera flash and copy N paste... No comment
