3g is used for alot more than video calls.
Fast speed internet FTW!
Everyone is saying it's so expensive, it hasn't been released so how do you know how much it will be?
If it's not overpriced i will seriously consider buying one

The design at the back looks stunning and the front is just like the original- that makes no sense to me.

So Bad. I do not see a good reason to sepnd a money even low price of $299 to chagne my IPHone to 3G. My IPHONE 16G is fine and is smaller too. i am gettign nothign beside 3G and who care. Edge is fine for me and want it faster then i use my Wi-Fi. even faster. I wait for next IPHONE with slimer, Flash, Radio and so on. I am sure they coming soon.
Even the package is cheap not like last one. For now as two phone i Buy HTC Diamond or Samsung i900. Fantastic phoen and keep my Old IPHONE which i am very happy with. Thanks Apple after a year only give me 3G. and 8 and 16GB. What happen to 32GB??????

They have to modify their camera function and it will be a very cool phone... :D
Maybe a better screen resolutin... :D
30 FPS (640x480 High Quality) Video recording and a 5 MP Cam with 3x Zoom,
with Light and Flash should be in too.
And a good Cam for Video-Calling is a big must have.
But the "Gps" is very cool... :D
Maybe they modify their next Phone, The "iPhone Ultimate"... :P

Please tell me something. If this phone is 3G then why does it only have one camera on it (and its on the back of the phone). Surely when making a 3G call to a friend you should have the camera on the front of the phone so you may see yourself on the screen to make sure that the camera in compress your face like the HTC models do. Its silly that you have to make a 3G call and turn the phone around in order for the other person to see you.

even after rejuvanation of the phone apple missed to incorporate certain commanly asked features like fm radio with rds and fm transmission and also apple could have improved the camera resolutions up to 5 mp or atleast 3.2 mp

This is a handset for people that like to have "cool things" if you are after technology within a handset then dont get the iphone, i personally use the Ipod Touch, this handset is an AMAZING Ipod but as a handset it has sub-standard features, these features were beaten 2 years ago by nokia.
But one cannot disagree with the multi-touch interface, it is truley brilliant, the screen is extreemly durable, one of the best i have ever seen for a touch screen handset, and as with all ipods, this baby is built to take a beating, and working in the mobile phone insurance field i can assure you is a rare assett. I would go so far as to put this along with the likes of the nokia 5140i and the 5500 sport in terms of its impact withstandability.
All in all if you want a handset for its inovative UI then look no further, if you want an amazing ipod but dont want to carry a phone around too then this is your baby, if you want something that can take a beating and you dont mind fingerprint magnatism! then this is the handset to buy!
If you are looking for specification then dont get this handset, but specification will always get beaten after 5 mins so think hard about it.
I happen to like the iphone but i wont buy it in the UK (a country which usually gives handsets away for free with contract).

feature wise this ph. sucks imean this should hav been out last year. atleast want a 5 mp cam and other stuff. also no fm and nokia has been offerin this since 2 years now.

This is like taking us back to where we've gone past,i'd prefer n96 and se experia to this,it's only the 3G thing that makes it different from the first one. Apple should improve and stop brainwashing it's customers.
