You can now buy a video app for the 3G called ivideo. I bought my 3G iphone from o2 and have installed and used this new app. Not as good as the app on the 3GS as you cant do video editing but it does allow you to record in high and low quality. well worth the cost to give your iPhone 3G video function. Before you say otherwise check the apple store.

Anonymous, 19 Jan 2010R u nuts?iphone 3g definitely doesnt come with vid rec n mm... moreYes you can have MMS on 3G but you need to update you software to Version 3.1.2 or atleast 3.0 on the 3G. This doesnt enable taking Videos though on your 3G iPhone. Its still a 3Gs capability.

I have a 3G and i found an app last night on iTunes Apps which has enabled my Video camera. Ok, so the Quality isnt of that of my Samsung DigiCam.. but it works fine, sound and Audio. Cost me £3.99.

The touch screen doesn't even... moredid you got you phone brand new or bought it online? if you got it online you got fooled. i got a iphone 3G and it work just fine. i jailbreaked it and i can play full games for free just by downloading them over the internet.

Upgrade to the version 3.0 or 3.1.2 and the MMS will be default in the new version,
Regarding the Video recording you can check Apple store or once you jailbreak your iPhone Use the Cydia and download the application "Cycorder"

Apparently you are an employee of the competition. You however still need to be objective. There are people who still rely on this site in purchasing a phone, i used to.

Please dont. there are so many better phones out there.

satriyo, 15 Jan 2010the battery is very weak, how can I charge my iphone twice ... moresince the phone has many features it sucks all d energy ,well i hav a few points to say u to save ur battery , set ur wifi off 'coz dis is d main sucker ,set 3g off wen not in use , also set auto brightness nd auto lock , with dis i hope ur battery will last for nearly 4-5hrs even at background music .....

to extend you iphone battery life for daily use, make the following
install preferred firmware 3.1.2, jailbreak with blacksn0w, go to Cydia or ROCK, install Autolock SBSettings Addons and restart ur iphone, then slide your finger from the very top iphone screen and go to processes and u will get built-in app like Task Manager for running Apps, try to close programs that running already without actual usage. disable also push mail and location service and 3g. that's all. good luck with it
