Firstly I tell any song u make ring tone of this phone just converted m4r formet. And camera function is as good as any virsion of nokia & se sets .I phone 3.2 mega pixel vs nokia 5 mega pixel .easily beat .picture and color quality is amazed. I give u a short advice to take better quality pic : when take the pic just still the hand & touch the capture button . Don't moving the camera when take the pic;;U can say it has no flash light; yes I agree with it ; Internet is amazing and PDA net by using modem is as good as I never seen before to use any kind of set. no doubt its an great mob but der is so many problems is raised after buying iphones like problem abt downloading

A:definitely yes! its worth it! its the bes been using it for almost a year now no problems encountered since day one. i love my iphone.
Q:Will all my apps be retained if I upgrade my iPhone 3GS to iOS 4 and will it not have fault and how ll i upgrade.
A: yes your apps will still be there after the upgrade if you sync your iphone first with your itunes installed in your computer, but usually if you update your iOS itunes will automatically sync your iphone and makes back up of your apps,mp3 and photos. how to update? make sure you have the lastest version of itunes in your comuter, in the help tab click the "check for updates", and then connect your phone and itunes will automatically check your phone's os if its the latest or not. if for some reason it didnt check for update, then you can manually check it by clicking your iphone's name (make sure its connected via cable) located at the left side of the itunes window under devices, after clicking it will show you the phones summary where you can see the check for update button, click it. after the update you'll love your iphone even more:)

Demerits:
Battery sucks very fast specially when internet is in use but good part is that it gets charged very fast too. Most of the free applications are of useless quality or just and advertisement for the higher version of the apps. Camera quality is not good if it is used in night or dim light conditions. Bluetooth is almost useless as it doesnt support for file transfer etc. Difficult to use ur fav mp3 songs as ringtone so have to compromise with preloaded bored ringtones. popular social network like Facebook doesnt run nicely as u can not see the names of ppl if more than 3 ppl like ur walls or status.
Merits:
Phone is excellent for the use of internet surfing as safari is very good inbuilt browser. Supports VLC player so video display is good with almost all file format. It gets conneted only through iTune so generally file transfers are free from viruses. Sound quality is good.
