qq, 04 Jun 2010yes it's pretty much a basic phone. what's most awesome of ... moreI agree that that the battery life is not great, but unfortunately that's common on a number of smartphones. Also I agree the signal is not the best in the world.
But what makes the iPhone great apart from apps is the UI and experience. Working your way around the phone is simple, there is just one home screen button where u can work to whatever u need, rather than have a seperate button for many other features. I have used higher spec phones with numerous buttons n a fiddly interface. That got me frustrated. With the iPhone getting to what u want is neat and tidy, therefore this makes the whole experience great.

yes it's pretty much a basic phone. what's most awesome of this phone is the apps. without the apps, i wouldn't have gotten this. although many of the apps are useless, people should not condemn it as some are really good and entertaining.
it's touchscreen is also the best i've ever come across. not a fan of touchscreen things but it is very smooth and gives consumers a very good webbing experience.
surely it's overpriced but if there are still consumers snatching to buy it, why should those who don't have an iphone worry about this?
now come to disadvantages.
battery life is the worst ever and i have to charge it everynight but this isn't that bad since i search for new apps everyday and leave my phone connected to the comp.
poor signal is another problem. used to have no problem with my previous phone.
lack of basic functions such as transferring files via bluetooth but i'm used to using itunes ever since my ipod already.

There is no way the iPhone 4G is being released next week! It hasn't even been announced yet.

i dont understand why apple still hasnt made a discount on 3gs. my friend bought one last summer in usa for 650 $ vat included but it has till has same price even iphone 4g is going to be released in a week . i really dont understant their policy

With this economy, save your money and get something else.. plenty of good phones out there with 1/5 the cost. Just my 2 cents. :)

Realy , I used many brand of mobiles but like Iphone , never seen . Smooth screen , power full not hang up , very good application and usefull. Right now I have samsung HD , BB , LG and Nokia N97 but Iphone uncompaierable . Go forward iphone.
