before update your phone check your phone lock status if its a software unlock mobile(like ultrasnow unlock)u will loss ur unlock status, then u need to unlock ur mobile. simply connect your mobile to itunes, it will indiacte the latest software version jst press download and update. after that if u wish u can jailbreak using redsnow..

What i did is I updated manually using itunes, then I had it professionally jail broken by an iphone technician. Because after its been jail broken I still had to unlock it which is an additional task by the technician. By the way I am from the Philippines I am using globe telecoms as my carrier.
I suggest you have it jailbroken professionally to avoid problems.

Ck, 07 Mar 2014Any problem with iOS 6.1.6 ????Just upgraded to 6.1.6 and the phone is very slow now... And more over the Mail and Safari apps are not responding upon launch. They self-terminate after around 30 seconds and are irresponsive to user input. Other than this all is fine.
