I can't wait for the next gen iphone. Among all the rumors of what it's going to have, I hope the super amoled screen and a modified A4 chip w/ 1gz speed are true. For me, those 2 features alone would be worth the upgrade. If not, I would likely keep my 3gs but discontinue my data plan and buy myself an ipad 3g w/ unlimited data.

A phone with an OS that allows applications to be downloaded and allows the user to make use of the fuctions to enable them to work, play, whatever...this is classed as a smartphone. With multi-tasking about to be introduced this makes the iPhone more smart. This can be done without jailbreaking :)

mmm, Apple is PLAYING U PPL!! They could off announced all these 4.0 features (multitasking, wallpaper,... etc) in 3.0 or even 2.0, but those money-hungry merons r never satisfied. With that being said, multitasking does indeed look VERY UGLY (wayyy too many squary icons on screen - ouchh), just like the rest of announced features of this phone!
But I gotta admit - that new "online-gaming" app is genius. (I guess Windows Phone 7 is screwed now, cause they r stuck with Xbox Live, but who pays or uses that these days anyways -> PS3)
I just hope that Android integrates that gaming SOON!!! :)
As much as I HATE Apple-Crapple, I find it hilarious how others on these forums now comenting on WHAT ELSE IS MISSING in iPhone, aka radio, file browser - just to make themselves satisfied that their Nokia/Samsung/SE xxx whatever is still better!... CHILL Out jeesh

Y? cause it is fundamentally flowed in IT'S UI itself!!
It's ugly, messy due to tons of icons, and most importantly integration-flawed - feels like a bizarre tornado going from app to app
The only (very big plus which draws all it's customer attention besides all that marketing gimmick that Apple spends most of their money on) is how FLUID, and SIMPLE of use is their UI no matter the specs!!
But other companies r catching up on that now too... :)

Apple then reached agreement with Fujitsu that they wouldn't dispute it.
Apple now owns the iPad trademark.
It is a similar story with the iPhone trademark except that involved the US company Cisco.
Apple is currently worth $223 Billion and is the third largest company in America..
