Hooraay new os 4 is out, Boo still no flash, i only wonted to surf the net on my phone like you can on a OMNIA HD how pants is this, who cares its got adds. oh and mulit task that only works with multi task apps, WTF, still cant play music and surf , ( all be on a mobile only version of the net, ) oh I wish I had a better phone

Maximum I managed to get with minimal use was ... moreI read that the battery life was pretty disappointing but I also couldn't find anyone using the iphone like a Samsung (no music, no gps, no 3g, no wifi, no games, no itnernet). I used to have an Iphone 2G and it lasted easily 48 hours if I of course turned it off at night. I thought the 3GS battery should last longer because of optimized software, the phone is thicker (thicker battery maybe), but I was wrong obviously. Thx for the info.

Battery wise Nokia is best.. I use iPhone mostly for hearing music and it lasts almost 2 days.. If you are using more of wi-fi, 3g etc.. iphone rarely comes 1 day.
Personally I feel iPhone is best to my requirement, coz I hear more of music..

I too bought both Nokia N97 and iPhone 3gs 32GB...
As per my experience, both are good.. but iPhone is more fast whenever you are using more applications.
Nokia slows down a bit when u simultaneously use many apps. Also Nokia has many features which iPhone lacks.
End of the day both are head-head.
If u need more features, buy N97
If you want good music experience, buy iPhone.. or else buy an ipod touch and nokia N97.

I have an battery question regarding the 3GS as I am getting it soon. I will never play games on it, nor will I listen music or use 3G. I will use wifi maybe 5mins a week. It will be on night and day and I will talk on the phone cca 50 mins/day. How long till I have to recharge it? Thank you.

All of the phones listed that supposedly best the iphone because of those features have all paled in comparison to the iphone. I've used a good number of them, and none of them come close at all. Some people seem to think that a long list of features is automatically better than a shorter list. The iphone is proof that that is the wrong way to think
