Users would just buy a device that works best for them. The n95 used to work well for me, then I found the iphone that works better for me. So I switched. If there's another phone that would come out that would work for me better, I'd buy it. All of them borrow technology and ideas from one another. Buy the device that has the features that you are looking for, and that's it. Apple used technologies and combined it with their own os and created a smooth running device, that's how devices evolve, and that's how the iphone became a revolutionary device.

I have other more important things to worry about than computer viruses and fearing for my information to get hacked. My computer chores have dramatically improved after switching to mac. Again, you say that mac is basic. Can you explain to us its algorithm comparing it to windows pc on how it was designed? Have you created a software yourself that you feel like you have the authority to judge the mac osx and call it basic?

What's the algorithm of the Apple software that makes it simple and jurassic? Why would we need a complicated OS that lags and freezes? If you look up the definition of a smartphone, the iphone easily falls in that category. Once you add features like wifi, 3g, capacitive screen, it no longer is a basic phone. A basic phone would be something like made of mostly plastic with plastic display, 64k colors, no wifi, limited internal memory, etc.

Apple don't invent anything they just look for company that have the best technology & go out & buy them, or use other companies technology without payment for itms use, just like the touch screen on the iphone,ipod touch & now the ipad, that touch screen was developed by a company by the name of fingerstouch technology.
