Why the hell did they clock the CPU to 600MHz when it can run at 800. Battery life or over heating? Maybe. I hate everyone who claims that HTC, Google, Nokia, Motorola, etc. are all copying the iPhone. Apple didn't invent the touchscreen it just revolutionized it. It was all resistive until apple made capacitive the must-have.

Everyone is sooo bitter on this forum. The iPhone has the best app store. There is no arguing with that. Hardware-wise it can't touch the HD2, Desire, Nexus One, Acer Liquid, Acer neoTouch, etc. Software wise they can't touch the iPhone, the sheer number of Apps (ignoring the crap ones) is amazing. Google Android is probably the iPhone's biggest threat, but there is no competing with Apple. Their customers are all loyal to Apple. Android is really competing with WinMo in all respects. The n97 is far from beating the iPhone and the n900 is marketed towards a completely different crowd.

And yet again the camera comes into the equation. Its like anyone who has something against the iPhone always brings in the camera. If I wanted a proper camera, I wouldnt worry about it on my phone of all places.
The iPhone is great, always has been great, will continue to be great :)

The iphone has good qualities, but it is FAR behind it's competitors. Even a 3 year old nokia phone can handle multiple aps and shoot better photos and has xenon flash.
And one more thing, the iphone isn't that expensive to make, but they sure have an expensive price tag so suckers who think it's worth the money would pay for one lol, there are phones far better and far more expensive then the IPHONE. DOn't talk like the iphone is superior cause it's not.
Apple products are decent at best, they are user friendly and geared toward the average, WHICH makes the phone a general compromise in all aspects.
Iphone is just a toy for kiddie minded people. That's a good thing for people like you who would rather spend hours playing with aps on the phone then doing something with your life.

The iPhone has a wonderful OS and UI, the 600 mhz processor is powerful enough as the OS doesn't require as much power as others. The app store is brilliant, the touch screen is sublime and their warranty and service is excellent. However, the camera is poor, video recording poor and unfortunately I must say the casing (especially the buttons) is disappointingly poor quality. Overall though I couldn't go for any other phone as they all feel cumber sum and illogical. If your after a camera phone, then don't go near this.

I am like you, I always like to know the latest phones that are out there including other brands. Feedback is always great, if someone has negative constructive feedback when they have actually owned the phone is acceptable. Thats the beauty of debate. But when you get crazy people coming here coming out with stupid comments against the iPhone, when clearly they have never owned an iPhone, it baffles me. I mean if they hate the iPhone so much, why keep coming back again and again to re-post? Insane people.

I am an iphone user myself, but I do like to read what's new with other phonemakers as well, like Nokia, HTC, Samsung, etc, and I try to read comments hoping to get feedbacks from users. Instead I see a lot of hating and bashing against the iphone, and sometimes, as an iphone user, you want to correct all the lies that those haters post against the iphone.

Truth is, you are bitter and hateful because you probably could not afford the iphone and its services, but you want to have one so bad. So you settled for one of those iphone wannabe's by htc, nokia, samsung and motorola, lol. Just be happy with whatever device you have and don't be hateful and bitter that you cannot afford an iphone like we can. Get a job and save money, maybe then you can afford an iphone, but then, you may not be able to afford to buy high quality products from the app store and itunes. Sorry for your sad financial situation, but you're making it worse by being hateful and bitter.

but its a big befference between the usual 3g and the 3gs...
Get the 3gs or wait untill summer when 4g will come

Otherwise the speed etc of the phones is the same. Its alll about music and app space.

People with Issues!! Surely if you don't like the phone, you need not comment here. But clearly a lot of people have an addiction to it - be it good or bad. If you have a problem with your iphone or complement, state it here for a forum discussion and resolve. Don't come on here stating "This phone is better than an iPhone" hopping from one brand to the next. If you like your phone, feel free to boast about it's good qualities under that model's forum. Seek attention there. This up and down competition is not why these forum exists.

And how can you conclusively back up that Moto Nokia Samsung & HTC current phones are better than the iPhone????
Let me make this clear, as you clearly have never used the iPhone and go by that thick iDont list. These brands are doing everything in their power to topple the iPhone as they all know Apple's superiority! They know the iPhone is a superb phone with MILLIONS of happy customers and are doing everything to attract sales to them. Fair play, HTC are attracting a good number of customers and its down to consumer choice, but one thing is 100% clear: the iPhone is a superb phone!
